I've been a loyal Tidy Cat (clumping litter) customer since its invention in the mid-80s (the best invention on earth!) & was excited to see that Sam's Club carried a Tidy Cat clumping litter, though was leary of the Glade scent. (I usually get "Tidy Cat 24/7", but the buckets don't recycle & have run out of re-purposing uses.) THIS GLADE-SCENTED LITTER DOES NOT CLUMP AT ALL! I clean 2 cat boxes several times a day; regular hard clumps are removed with other Tidy Cat brands BUT NOT THIS ONE. The ammoniated litter goes right back into the box (unless you use a non-slotted scoop). I ended up adding regular clumping "Tidy Cat 24/7" to the existing Glade litter (50-50) & it helped use up the bad, non-clumping litter. I almost threw it out, but adding good, clumping litter did help use it up. I'll never buy this Tidy Cat "Glade" litter again, though.

We prefer using this lightweight litter as we used over 300 lbs a week in scoopable litter per week. Tidy Cat scoopable has been a staple in the rescue for years. We loved the lighter weight which helps in the cost of disposal and burden of hauling in/out. I wish we could afford to purchase more often.

Thank you for the sample of your new litter variety. I have used Tidy Cats litter exclusively but try to avoid any type of scent. Unfortunately, this new litter is very heavily scented with Glade, which I don't like the smell of anyways. I appreciated the fact that it seemed to be much more dust free than the previous LightWeight variety. However, the smell was so strong that I had to pour out both litter boxes that I had used it in and dispose of it because my entire first floor smelled. One of my cats refused to go in it. Luckily, there was another box she could use that I had not filled with this litter. I will stick with the regular Tidy Cats scoopable litter in the future.

The best cat Litter

We have a home with 4 cats, this product worked well with odor control, and even though it tracked, it wasn't horrible. Recently I noticed the litter is a tan color, not the gray like before, tracks much worse the odor control isn't nearly as good? Was there a change, and if so, why?

I talked to the associate for 15 minutes about this product. I have tried several other litters but still had issues with odor. Having 5 cats, I am a freak about my house smelling like them! Before this product I could tell when they went - standing in the kitchen (they have their own room-far away from the kitchen) All I can smell is the scent of glade. I walked into the house this morning after my trip to the gym, can't smell anything but glade. The other issue I had with other litters is the dust. This product has no dust, even if they say it has some. Clumping is amazing! I hope they never stop making this product. I love it! 

I've been buying Tidy Cats for 16 years, and have ONLY bought Tidy Cats. I buy 3-4 35lb tub every 2-3 weeks. (14 cats). I've noticed about maybe September that the litter is real dark. When my cats pee it makes a paste instead of clumping. It is so hard to scoop it, I end up having to dump the whole box, now that's a lot of wasted money and now is not the time to waste money with being laid off due to Covid. Is this happening to anyone else? I ALWAYS get the lite blue with Glade.

I like the litter, the cat's like it too but it's too expensive so I'll just keep using the glade tidy cats litter at least until the price comes down. You would think that because it's so much lighter & cheaper on shipping that it would be the same price or cheaper than the other Tidy Cat products!!!!

I've always loved tidy cat but something surely changed in the formula. Every time my cat pees, it forms a paste in the bottom of the litter box that I have to scrub out. I do scoop this out every day or every other day. The clumps fall apart as soon as I try to scoop them out, and the strong ammonia smell is unleashed. I've tried changing my cats food, but the problem persisted. Not until I changed cat litter brands did I see a difference. No longer a loyal customer.
