I am so sick of the dust that most "dust free" litters produce. The dust gets everywhere and the perfume smell is all over the house. This litter doesn't produce the dust and the pleasant smell stays where it belongs! No litter box odors at all! I LOVE this litter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this cat litter! Everytime we use it we never have a problem with any nasty cat smells. I am super sensitive to the scent of ammonia. I always get super nauseous whenever I smell it but with this litter I don't have to deal with the problem at all. It traps the smell so so well. I also like that the clumps don't break away very easily. I have noticed with some clumping litters that the clumps will sometimes breakup into a hundred little pieces making it harder to keep the litter box clean but I do not have that issue with this litter.

I am a longtime TC buyer and thought I would try this kind for a change, bought the huge pail of it from Walmart. Upon opening it I was knocked back by the overpowering sickening rotten fruit and chemical smell of this litter. I can't stand it and feel bad for my cats who are stuck using it for the time. I wish I could return this! You really need to go back to the drawing board with this one!

We had to replace our original litter due to a dust issue. It was a cheap litter and anytime we had to change the litter, scoop it, or even when the cat was in it, we couldn't breathe in the house for the next 30 minutes! Our cat did not like the new litter we tried and we have had such a hard time with our cat going outside the litter box. Nothing we did would work...and we've tried EVERYTHING! We almost had to give him up because of the damage it was doing to our carpet and our landlord NOT being happy. This was our last resort...and it WORKED! From the moment we started using this litter, we have not had a single accident outside the litter box. The smell, while not completely gone, is greatly improved. You can barely tell there is a cat in the house. Our cat seems to really like it. There is no problem with dust and we are REALLY impressed with how well this litter clumps. We are now LOYAL Tidy Cats customers and will recommend this product to anyone. 

I use Tidy Cat clumping litter, and recently purchased the Glade fragrance. I'm fortunate in that I have a large laundry room and all 3 of my litter boxes are kept in there. I clean the boxes at least once a day and sometimes twice a day, this is important! There isn't a litter out there that will mask odor caused by a lazy cat owner!

That is if you aim for better business. It's fair to say that this is a pattern. Litter sticks to the bottom of the pan making it messy to scoop and small fragments are too small for scooper to hold. I've never tried your old formula since I only got my kitten a few months ago but many people say something has changed. On a positive note, the smell is pleasant and odor neutralizer is good. Not sure if your new formula saves you on costs but if it does you need to decide whether the loss of business is worth it. I will be trying different litter. PS I didn't receive anything free from Tidy Cats but "no" is not an option below.

I bought this because they didn't have the one my cat used and it made my Siamese cat sick she would not eat she was foam at the mouth ever time she would clean her feet after going to the litter box it went on for 2 days had to though it in the garage

I received the Glade Tough Odor Solution Cat Litter from the Try It Community. I liked that it was light weight so it was easy to carry and pour. I also like the scent when you first put it down. However after day three, it didn't seem to work as well as the first two days. You started to get a sour smell underneath. I have three cat litter boxes and three cats (none will share a litter box). The only one that didn't seem to have a sour odor was the automatic box. It was still better than even the Arm and Hammer ones,.but I'd love to find a litter that lasted for more than two or three days. I'd still recommend this to family and friends.

Bought this product on special. Its 99.9% dust, guessing its due to a finer liter, it stinks and doesn't kill the odor. My liter box is in the laundry room off the kitchen and I could smell odor hours after my cat had used the box. I have been using Tidy Cat since 1984 and wouldn't change. I swear by most of the products. Since the clumping, dust free came out, I have used it. I will not be buying the Glade product ever again. I love the 24/7 with the red cap. Please don't ever change anything in that formula. I have and will always recommend Tidy Cats to friends, but not the Glade formula.
