Just bought 2nd Set of 4!

We just bought our second set of 4 for our vehicle. Not issues with the tire! Super quiet and comfortable ride. If they only made this tire for off road vehicles!!! My wife's daily driver to commute and carry our kids to and from their activities. We have driven this tire on ALL weather types of road conditions (rain, snow, desert, high temperatures) no issues. Very reliable. Find an installer to fill with nitrogen! Well worth it and piece of mind. Don't think twice about buying this tire!

Michelin Tires are the Best!

We just purchased 4 new Michelin Defender tires for our '07 Honda Accord Hybrid with 160,000 miles. We were replacing 4 well used Michelin Harmony tires that had served us well. The Harmony brand has been retired and the Defender is one of the recommended replacements. We trust the Michelin brand and have used them exclusively in our many Honda vehicles. This new Defender is a fine tire. On the 35 mile ride home from the Dealer, I was pleaseed to notice that the car rode more quitely, softened bumps and irregularities and handled the curves and corners beautifully. We highly recommend Michelin tires for quality, safety & dependability.

Tires are super quiet.

Recently I posted a review stating my tires were extremely loud. Well, I have to take that back. I discovered that I had a faulty wheel bearing installed last year and it was now grinding so much it was like I was driving a jet and not a car. Really became noticeable when I put on the new tires after removing the snows. So today I picked up my car with the bearing replaced and the ride is quiet, quiet, quiet. So for the other person with the noisy tires, just might be a good idea to make sure it is not a wheel bearing.... .

These are GREAT tires!

I had these tires installed on my '06 Ford Taurus along with new struts all the way around. It had 108K on it when they were installed. When I drove it out of the shop, it was like driving a new car out of the showroom. We're at 121K now and I can see no sign of wear yet. My 45 mile round trip commute is a pleasure now! The guy at the shop said "you realize these are 90K tires don't you?" I told him that when they are worn out, the car probably will be too! Thinking about putting them on my '14 Durango as well. Pay the extra nickel and get Michelins, you won't be sorry.

Didn't last 90,000 miles

I love Michelin products, but these tires didn't last as long as expected. I was told more city driving decreases the total miles the tires will last. They did last me 4 years which is a long time in the Texas heat. But they are down to 2/32 and had to be replaced. I will say that while I owned them there was never a problem. Just would have liked them better if they had lasted longer.

Noisy after 25,000 km

Put Defender XT 205/70R15 on wife's 2002 Subaru Forester, initially very happy with tires, still preform nicely but tire/road noise started at about 25,000 km (guessing on this number, tires now have 38,668 km use). I feel the tires are good, just noisy.

Poor choice for a Toyota Prius

The tires handle well but have seriously reduced the mileage. Immediately we went from averaging over 60/mpg all the way down to just above 50/mpg. I read other reviews indicating these tires worked well with the Prius but for our 2011 they are not doing well.

Dry Rot

I have purchased top-end Michelin tires for 25 years. The last 2 cars I've had to replace tires very early due to dry rot. The first car (Pilot) I thought was a fluke, now my Ridgeline LTX M/S tires were extremely dry-rotted at 40k miles needed replacement. I replaced with the new Defender LTX M/S out of sheer loyalty and/or laziness. Does anyone else see this pattern?

DO NOT HOLD UP!

This is the 2nd set of these we have had. Although we actually like the tires both sets have only lasted about 45,000 miles. Not what you would expect out of a high dollar premium tire. Sam's Club made me a deal on the 2nd set or would not have bought them again. Going to see if I can get another deal.

Tread peeling off/ premature tire wear

I just notice tread is peeling off like an orange. My tires still has plenty of tread and I never in my life seen tires tread peel off and I have bought non name cheap tires brands in past. With these poor quality product and many recalls on Michelin tires I would never buy from them.very disappoint
