I purchased this shovel one year ago and I have used it only 5 times. I only used it for my deck. I plugged it in this season and it ran for 1 second then shut down. Now, Snow Joe will not honor the warranty because I am unable to produce the original receipt, from one year ago. The credit card I used to purchase the shovel I do not use and have closed, so I am unable to locate a reprint of the receipt. This product is a total piece of crap and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Pros: -Eats through snow -Easy to assemble -Good battery life Cons: -Heavy -Only blows snow ahead, giving you double the work as you push forward I'm glad I tried this, but I don't see using it in the future. Either I blow the snow ahead to wind up shoveling it again, blow it onto my neighbors' sidewalks, or blow it out into the street. The second two options will get me into trouble, so I'm not sure it's really worth the effort.

Bought this for my husband for Christmas. Just got our first chance to use it. It is quiet and easy to use. Throws the snow a good distance. We have a large snowblower for our steep driveway but this is perfect for the sidewalk and deck. Great purchase! He loves it.

I cannot honestly say that I like this product because we have not had snow yet. I can't say that I don't like it either. I am happy to have it available when the time comes to use it. Looks good and it appears to be light and sturdy. Fingers crossed

Purchased just before winter. Works well, only drawback is there's only one battery and on the instructions they advise to completely drain the battery before charging as this could reduce the life of the battery. Be prepared to get snow in the face. Throws snow pretty far so watch for others and properties. Great for reduced mobility people. Watch for the plastic blades, they break easy. Blades actually protrude further than body frame.

I used it for up to an hour and a half. I had to unclog it twice cuz of pine cones ooops. Takes a few hours to charge the batteries. Throws the lightweight snow pretty far. The snow that was on the edge of the street took longer cuz I had to do it in layers.

Bought the 24v-ss10xr model;a month ago and finally today Jan.3rd finally got a chance to try it out. Had a couple of inches of snow which wasn't enough to take out my normal snow blower, what a surprise how quiet it ran, and easy and fast I completed my driveway with plenty of time left on my battery. Already been recharged for the next use. Hopefully the snowfall will be small again so I dont have to take out the big snow blower. Thank's excellent product.

Found that 10 inch is not wide enough to do sidewalks. Takes multiple passes to complete the job. We had 3 inches of snow and it was having trouble throwing the snow, would stop motor. Was fully charged. Also was getting covered with snow the way it blows snow up in the air. Finished the job with my plastic shovel. I really wanted to like this product and will give it another try. Co-workers have positive comments on their snow throwers so I thought I would give it a try.

My husband is loving this power shovel (he can't wait to use it after it snows)! It does a great job of cleaning the sidewalks and large drive even with 5 inches of snow, and we've had a lot of snow in Chicagoland recently. No back breaking shoveling or possible heart attack!

Pathetically weak. So weak, it repeatedly turns off when shovelling a typical snowfall. Like it'd be if you try to cut a foot of grass with an electric lawn mower. Shovelling a 4-car driveway alone, it turns off literally dozens of times. Easy to restart, but still annoying enough that I regret buying it.
