Ok after beating the internet to find Tires and a Reco By Consumers Reports , various tire sites recos I choose AltiMax RT43 , had Very High Rating's all categories, Got them and noticed right away in rain such a Good Grip , thread design is awesome and the bells and whistles that the Tire includes , it practically services itself ,with built in indicators ..  looking forward to Snow ,

Running these on my 1995 Ford Escort Wagon and I am SO satisfied with these tires. I have had them for two years with no wearing showing.These are better than Cooper or Michelin and I have ran both on the Escort. It's General Tires for me from now on.

I had a set of Michelins on my Ford Transit Connect and replaced them with general RT 43.The generals in the rain when I accelerate from stop signs and red lights spin uncontrollably. I only have about 5000 miles on this set of tires in a years time because of the virus. I would not purchase these tires again because of their poor performance.

I bought them around the first of December and we've had every driving condition possible since then... snow, ice, wet, dry and this tire has performed as well or better than expected.  I've already put over 15,000 on them and they still feel like they're brand new.  A great value...   I checked out all of the major brand's ratings and user reviews of the tires they had to offer and I felt the Altimax RT43 offered the best value.  I could have spent more money per tire with a couple of brands but I don't think I would have received any more life, performance or safety than the Altimax.  I made the right choice.

When I replaced my original tires I went  with fancy Yokohoma tires. Much more expensive than these tires and they wore out fast. I put these RT43's on and they hold the road, work great in the rain and have these wear strips that warn you about uneven wear. I put them on my Sienna too. They performed great in the snow too.

I bought these tires 08/11/18 to go on my 2016 Outback. Looked all over the internet for what would be the best tire for my Subaru and these were recommended by many. They are quiet, after properly balanced have a very smooth ride! They hold the road and corner very well. Haven't had them in the snow, ski trip canceled, but wet roads aren't any problem at all. They seem to be wearing well, so bottom line would I recommend these tires? You bet I would. Big price brand names aren't an issue with me, value is what I desire and that's what i got.

I have worked in the car business for over 35 years, but never had a set of General tires.  I bought them because of the traction rating and the write up more than anything. The tires cut the road noise in half! very smooth.  I already am trying to get a co-worker and a customer to get them after just one day.

I bought these for my daughter's Honda Civic. Her old tires were so loud when you were driving you could not hear yourself think. These tires did the trick! They are very quiet and are awesome in the rain and light snow. I highly recommend these tires and TireRack got them to me in ONE day!!

I'm retired and can spend extra time researching an important purchase like new tires. The tires were for a 2009 Lexus RX 350. This is the first time I've purchased General Tires. The claims for a long lasting, quiet tire were very important but the claim for better mileage may have tipped the scales. This winter we drove round trip to Tucson—total miles were 6000+. My wife commented right away how quiet the tires were. The bonus was the improved mileage, which went from 20mpg on the old tires to 23mpg with the new General AltiMax Rt43. The research paid off. Installed on 2002 Civic LX Sedan.  Tires do everything very well: ride quality, road noise, mileage, wet handling, really nice tires.  When I first installed them, feed back felt a little vague, especially when cornering at high speeds, maybe a little under steer.  With several thousand miles on them, they've become more predictable. Nice.
