First purchase of General tires and I'm very pleased.  Bought set of 4 for my wife's Ford Taurus Limited AWD.  Tires have a great ride, excellent dry and wet traction.  Price was determining factor but these tires are competitive with tires costing much more.

I could not be happier with these General Tires.  While we have only used them for a couple of months, the initial experience has been outstanding.  Our Sienna minivan rides very quietly during the frequent highway driving we have been doing since the tires were installed.  I have also been surprised that the vehicle handles noticeably better.  Steering is also much improved.  Driving in heavy rain has been very stable.  My only minor issue was a noticeable tire noise during breaking for the first couple of weeks, but this ceased once the tires were broken in.

These tires are wonderful.  They were nearly perfectly balanced with only one wheel of 4 requiring a quarter ounce to get balanced.  They are soft and compliant with tremendous grip in wet and dry conditions. Comfortable quiet ride.  They wear very well too.  I have been impressed by general tires in the past and these RT43's do not disappoint.  Thanks General.  Did I mention that they were inexpensive to start and a bargain with the included rebate.

I put these on my Prius before the winter and I've been very pleased with them. I have put about 6,000 miles on the tires and have found that they are very quiet so far. The best feature is that they seem to perform very well in winter conditions for an all-season tire. I have also found that they are good in wet conditions as well. Gas mileage seems to be pretty good too.

Wear and Tear is excellent.  I am a 78 yr. old female and my car drives and rides  better, smoother, feel safer, driving my car with General Tires.  I would definitely  Buy and Recommended these tires to all and I  have to others.  Good product for your money.

I purchased these for my 2012 Nissan Rogue.  We don't do a lot of driving, only 5-6K a year.  I've had these on for almost 2 years and they show no sign of wear.  I also have a set of these on my 2012 Nissan Sentra that my son drives.  These are now about 3 years old, and are just starting to show some sign of wear.  On both vehicles the ride is smooth and handling is super great.

Special ordered these tires through tire dealer since the tread pattern was deep & had good sipes for draining water away from tread in wet conditions to prevent hydroplaning.  Good tire traction & braking on both wet or snow covered roads.  Some traction slippage on slushy surfaces with longer braking. Cold tires seem to run rough initially on smooth surfaces until they warm after a driving a mile or so.

This tire is so great, it grips wet road pretty good, and the best feature about this RT43 that i like is stability on the road, especially it is noticeable when wind is blowing and car is rocking, so way better than continental extreme contact tires in that regards, not much road noise. I would buy it again.

I bought the AltiMAX RT43s for my Mazda 3 sedan and they were so awesome I bought another set for my kids' Mazda 3 hatchback.  They have great treadwear and are the best I've ever used in the New England slush.  No slipping and great confidence on corners.  I will definitely buy them again.

Bought these for our 04 Highlander and were satisfied with their performance year round, even in snow.  Bought another set for our '11 Sienna.  Will buy again.  The wear, noise and traction are fine and the price is right.
