I have been a Michelin buyer for years on all my cars. But with my 06 Charger having over a hundred thousand miles, I didn't feel the need or wanting to spend that much on a car I wasn't going to keep much longer. I was very surprised this winter with the way these tires handled, also very good in wet weather. Another good thing about these tires which is very important to me is road noise, and these tires are just as quiet as my Michelins were. You won't go wrong if you buy these tires.

I purchased these tires 6 months ago and installed them on my Toyota Avalon. Living in Cleveland Ohio I am very happy with the performance of my tires. There great in snow 4 to 6"" they provide good traction and light snowfalls to. Living on the east side is the snowbelt.  I only have about 5,000 miles on my new tires but I like them. I am hoping for 50,000 mile longevity like many people are stating their getting. Time will tell. Like I said I am happy. Gonna buy 4 more for my wives jeep. She has MasterCard tires now, but there to noisy. I'm thinking these Altimax with work good on her vehicle as well.

Got these for an 02 A6 that my wife drives. No issues other than a nail she hit within 2 weeks of getting them. Glad for that TR road hazard warranty! I haven't heard any noticeable noise from the cars and put winters on shortly after they were installed, so I haven't had them for long. I like that these were available in the XL rating. Her winters are Generals as well and I've had no issues. Nice traction in Pittsburgh winters, which while not all that snowy, are indeed icy!

General Tires are very durable and long lasting tires, I have grown up around and riding on these tires both for work and off work. We have brought tires for our SUV and Van and would not drive on anything but these tires, handling and tire tread wear is exceptional, peace of mind when your on the road.

Perfect grip even in snow, low noise, good price. I like them, after I bought a set of altimax my car runs smoother. I used to have GY and Bridgestone before and I wanted I buy one of these again, however I was lucky that guys from the tireshop advised me GT

These tires are wonderful.  They were nearly perfectly balanced with only one wheel of 4 requiring a quarter ounce to get balanced.  They are soft and compliant with tremendous grip in wet and dry conditions. Comfortable quiet ride.  They wear very well too.  I have been impressed by general tires in the past and these RT43's do not disappoint.  Thanks General.  Did I mention that they were inexpensive to start and a bargain with the included rebate.

Good looking tire on my Forester. So far, I have driven on mostly pavement and the tire is quiet and the handling precise in both dry and wet conditions. Can't rate snow performance for another 6 months or so—hoping for equally good performance in slick conditions. Too soon to evaluate treadlife.

Bought these tires in fall. We live in northern Wisconsin. We had a wet fall and above normal snowfall this winter. Also ice covered roads. These tires had no problem plowing through 7""-9"" of snow with are Subaru Forester. Handled great on wet pavement. Also handled ice cover roads better than I expected. I highly recommend these tires. We have 20,000 miles on these tires an seem to be wearing well. I rotate every 5000 miles.

Bought these to replace factory tires on a 2015 Mazda3.  Amazing upgrade in terms of handling, performance, and especially wet or snow or ice conditions (which the car saw plenty of this winter).  OEM tires were sketchy in the rain.  These were flawless in much worse.

Very happy with my purchase. I'm pleased the tires are not noisy as my last tires drove me crazy.  I had plenty of opportunity to try out the tires in terrible rain storms.  I felt in control and safe.
