The freezer helps out a lot. We are a family of 4 and we’re able to buy extra meats and vegetables when they’re on sale. The refrigerator freezer did not provide enough space. It did come with a small dent on the bottom. I’m so happy to have it, I can overlook it. All in all it was a great find for the money.

This is perfect for my needs as a single household. The size is great, I can purchase quantities at big box stores and freeze what I don't need, and I precook meals and freeze them in individual portions. Excellent. There are a couple of draw back to this item: No interior light. I keep a flashlight on top of the freezer to solve this problem. This is not frost free. My solution is to keep this fully stocked and defrost in the spring %26 fall. What is missing that I would like: Door racks - they are so handy for storing juices and soup stock Shelving is a rack - I would have preferred a solid shelf Air circulation is great and helps keep the frost down I've had no problems with the control panel, but I haven't had to do much to it.

Only gave it 2 stars on appearance because it has a big dent in the door!!! I bought the the protection plan(all on line) and can't find where to look for it at. Other than that everything is a 5 star review and would recommend anyone that wants a small upright this is a good choice!!!

Behold, the Frigidaire 6.5 cu ft Upright Freezer. Slender in form yet mighty in spirit. Though it occupies but a humble sliver of space, it possesses the heart of a giant and the capacity of a small dragon hoard. I have stuffed it with frozen treasures, and still it stands unbothered. Its design is sleek, its chill powerful, and its loyalty unwavering. However…tragedy strikes in one crucial place: the door. There are no door shelves. None. Not even a humble ledge. A missed opportunity of legendary proportions. And yet, despite this flaw, I would choose it again. For it is compact, deep, dependable, and worthy of a place in any kitchen kingdom.

There's nothing that I dislike about it. It keeps things much colder than the freezer on top of the fridge because I like my ice cream very firm and being able to set this freezer on the coldest setting and not getting into it as often I makes it invaluable to me.

i purchased this freezer i. August, and waited to write a review. this freezer is incredible. i put up a lot of frozen vegetables each year, and really needed an upright freezer that was easy to stock, and see what i had. so glad i ordered, even after seeing some reviews. in 5 months, no frost buildup inside. i have the temp gauge set on 1.5 and everything is nicely frozen. no issues at all.

no problems, so far its the medium sized freezer i wanted for my basement. easy enough to move with 2 people, not very heavy, which some might complain about. but u put food in it to weigh it down .. the only complaint is undeserved- its medium sized so if you wanted big, get big. read the measurements abd capabilities. I'll probably need to defrost it myself once in a while which is why its cheaper than automatic defrosting fancy freezers. but hey its an upright that gets to take less floor space just how i invisioned it. already chipping away at justifying its cost with money saved on bargain foods i would not have had space for otherwise. and the convenience is a bigger win. as for the operation cost in terms of electricity?- I'm not sure but its probably as advertised. so far I only open and close it a few times a week and it doesn't need to crank full power on much from what I can tell. the wire shelves are good but not much options to change the position. just maybe to remove them. but spacing is nice for my purposes. definitely 0 regrets getting it thus far. doesn't seem to have an bad sealing issus and pulls close rather tightly. maybe i got lucky but its not all damaged in transportation

This upright freezer has been such a helpful addition to our home! It was purchased for the price point and the value for the price is good. However, you need to be aware if ordering online instead of looking at it, the shelves are not moveable. This greatly affects your ability to put larger items in it, For instance good luck getting a 22lb turkey in it.

Bought in July onsale to store deer meat in fall. Never plugged in until September. Worked good filled with deer meat this fall and about a week ago started to make strange noises today December 29th come home, all my meat is thawed and freezer not cold. Lasted 4 months. Don’t buy.
