The structure of the mattress deteriorated in less than one year. When I sat on the edge, the edge sank about half way down. The area where I normally slept developed a valley such that my girlfriend said she felt like she was entering a valley. Unfortunately since the mattress sprang back to its original level when no one was on it, the warranty dept refused to provide any help. So I discarded it. Poor quality and disappointing level of customer support.

My husband and I are absolutely blown away by the quality of this product. We knew we needed a new mattress, but have been trying to hold out as long as we could (inflation ). After a month or so of consistently waking up in pain, with stiffness and aches that would last a good part of the morning, I had the last straw. We went to our local mattress store and we trialed several different beds. My husband and I agreed we wouldn't shop with price in mind, but instead we would shop for comfort. I laid on this mattress and felt like I fell into a cloud. It supported every curve on my body and suited me as a side/back sleeper and my husband as a side/belly sleeper. We still laid on other mattresses - unsure if we wanted traditional coils or if we wanted to get another all foam mattress. The hybrid is really the best of both worlds. We got it delivered and set up, napped for the afternoon and woke up for the first time in months without any shred of pain! My husband and I both have rheumatic arthritic conditions. The bed you sleep on is an investment. We have the soft, the medium was okay, the firm was too much for us. If you can, sample the mattress and you, too, will be sold on the superior quality of Stearns & Foster!!!

We got the mattress for less than a year and its already sagging. We have tried to communicate with the service department and all they refused to exchange the mattress because its not curvy enough. This is ridiculous and its causing psychological issues that we cant even fall asleep properly. We are so disappointed in both the quality of the mattress and the service!

I love this mattress, and so does my back! I had back surgery and it's so hard to find a soft AND supportive mattress. I usually get either soft and not supportive, or too hard of a mattress that doesn't conform to my body. This mattress is the perfect mix between soft and supportive. The memory foam is immersive enough to cradle my body, but the coils catch my body so I don't sink and throw my body out of alignment. It's worth it!

I have leukemia, and the medications that I must take daily have serious side effects. My joints are always painful and inflamed. Furthermore, I must sleep on my side due to a failed neck fusion. In the last twelve months, I have tried a mattress advertised as the best comfort. That didn't work at all. Next, I decided to purchase a highly advertised soft mattress with the same outcome. No rest, painful nights always! I purchased my Sterns and Foster Lux Hybrid (Soft) (LHH3) mattress in early March of 2024. From the first night, I experienced far less pain, slept better, and felt so very much better than I have in many years! This mattress is by far, the best mattress I have ever had and I highly recommend it!

Was very surprised before i start let me say i recieved this mattress as part of a promotion and was blessed to get to review it. I like the handles in the side makes it easier to move around. 2nd thing I noticed was the little air holes on side. Was super excited about that I'm a hot sleeper live in Texas can say I think this idea actually works its not like a ice box bit I diffenelty seem to be cooler at night not so stuffy . So that wad a major bonus with me . It's pretty tall when you put it on a box spring I really like that. Get deep pockets sheets also. Havnt had any issues with sheets coming off so that another thing I like usually sheet is half off by morining. And I received the soft lux hybrid first time with a mattress with memory foam. And I loved it. I like that it's a hybrid so you get the benefits of both memory foam and springs. I'm a side sleeper and havnt woke up to my shoulder hurting and that is awsome. The only thing is that my and my husband I feel end up in the middle some nights leaning on each other and with it being soft it feels like you kinda sink in but I like it and love it first luxury mattress I have owned and it did not disappoint. I knew this would be the best mattress in the store, but was I willing to fork over what it cost? Took me 4 years to be completely fed up with current mattress and take the jump. I should have done it sooner- first night on the mattress was unexpected comfort. Rested in the morning, very few turn overs in the night. No back pain and no stiffness. I have the firm, but it is more like a medium and it's perfect. It does have a chemical smell that I expect to go away soon- I don't care- it's a great mattress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress is very comfortable. It is quite tall and very heavy. When it arrived we thought it had a box spring built into it. But it did not so we decided to use our box spring. So our bed is pretty tall, a lot taller than our old one. I am about 5'5 and have to kind of hop in the bed. But I'm sure that will go down some in a short time. The mattress has a pillow top that is very thick and comfortable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a participant with BzzAgent sampling program we were chosen to test the medium lux hybrid for free in exchange for an honest review. I debated about giving this a 3 or a 4, so here are my thoughts. Keep in mind, we have only had this for a little over a week so far. Before choosing the mattress we would be willing to test I looked at the website for the firmness scale and the scale on the website said the firmness would be around 6-7 out of 10 for the medium. We have not found this to be accurate at this point. When we sit on the edge of the bed it sinks WAY down. Then when we lay in it, we sink way in. Its weird because if kinda feels a bit firm, but then we wake up in a hole. Definitely doesn't feel as firm as we expected and it is unfortunately a situation where we are waking up with sore backs. (I will add that we are not small people, but also not excessively overweight. I think it is a factor though). As for the cooling feature...we don't really see it. I don't know if that is because we have a mattress cover on it, or its just not working well for us. We will be trying it without the mattress cover soon. Not giving up yet. I can see this mattress being great for people who prefer a softer bed. I struggle to accurately say what I think because it does seem to have the support and stability I want in a mattress, but I also am waking up with a sore back and in a hole. I know, clear as mud. Overall, I think it s a good solid choice as long as its clear that it is softer than expected. One major thing that was bothersome to us was the off gassing. The "chemical" smell on this mattress for the first few days was so strong I actually ended up sleeping on the couch one night. I am sensitive to toxic fumes and it was causing me some trouble. That does seem to have dissipated after 4 days or so. So, after just one week, I wouldn't count this mattress out, but I don't think it will end up being right for us.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the opportunity to sleep on the Stearns & Foster Reserve Firm Pillowtop for about 20 days now and both my girlfriend and I are loving it. First I love the quality of the mattress and the thickness of it. It feels like the mattress is made of good quality and it's a brand name mattress. Secondly, it feels soft and firm but not too soft so it works out perfectly for any body. Before having this mattress I was sleeping on a foam mattress called Lessa and it was good but nothing like this. This mattress feels like an actual mattress and has the quality for a good night sleep. The support the mattress gives is by far best then the mattress I have slept in previously. I did receive this mattress to test however, my opinion is honest and it is a delight to sleep in. I cannot wait to have this for years to come so I can have a good night rest every night.
