Being able to control the temperature is incredibly convenient. I am able to make large dinners in a jiffy. Cleanup is easy. I am completely obsessed with this crockpot!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using slow cookers for decades, there is nothing quite like putting a roast or chicken and vegatables in the pot, putting on the lid, turning the pot on and forgetting about it for 6-8 hours. This model with its digital display, temperature probe and locking lid is just a step above. The Slowcooker is easy to use, easy to clean and produced a wonderful roast on its first try. Highly recommended.

Many of these will be leaving my house as the "Temp Tracker Slowcooker" does everything. It works at every temp setting -- Warm, Low, Med, High, Temp Mode (w/probe) and even has Sous Vide settings. The controls are incredibly simple and intuitive with just a knob and a screen. Everything is clearly explained in the manual, as well. The construction is great. It has a ceramic liner (the only ones I'll use) with easily grabbed tabs. The lid has 3 probe insertion holes, a thick gasket and a locking handle. That handle and the locking mechanism is the sturdiest setup I have yet to encounter and it includes a great probe storage spot. So far I have cooked a whole Chuck Roast and a Kielbasa/Cabbage/White Bean stew. They both came out perfectly and I can't wait to try Sous Vide cooking. As I mentioned above, come on over if you want a free Slow Cooker. I'm getting rid of 3 of my 5. I'm only keeping my 4qt model, since there's only 2 of us.

The directions were a little tricky or maybe I just needed pictures to help turning the slow cooker on. Figured it out and we were all set. The chicken came out moist and delicious. I really look forward to making a whole lot more with this slow cooker. Super easy to clean and convenient storage for temp tracker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to unbox this new Temp Tracker slow cooker! I've always wished I could have a slow cooker that would know when to turn itself off, not just because it had cooked for the allotted time, but because my food was perfectly done. Lo and behold....here is what I've been hoping for! It is so nice to have the temp probe for cooking. When food reaches the desired temp, the cooker can hold it at that temp or hold at pre-set warm temp. No more coming home an hour later than you'd planned to chicken that has become slurry. Integrated probe ports on the lid mean you don't even have to lift the lid and lose your heat. Just insert into the port and you're good to go. The probe can even be used at any time for a quick read if you're doing other styles of cooking in it. I'm especially excited to try the sous vide feature on this cooker. Supposedly, restaurants use this method to ensure perfect results. I look forward to those results in my own kitchen where it won't cost me an arm and a leg to do so! I'm not a yogurt making fan. Yet. This machine has the capability to do that too. Who knows, maybe I will branch out into something new. The beauty of it is, I can try it without buying another appliance because it's already built in to this one! This cooker is a good fit for me because it does an excellent job with a method of cooking I already understand, and it offers me a little room to grow and expand my cooking comfort zone too. Give it a try, I think you'll be as happy with it as I am.

You can use it with or without the probe. You can make many different foods in this slow cooker, including yogurt and fondue. It has a clamp right lid for ease of transporting. I would recommend this slow cooker to anyone. It is easy to use and easy to clean. It is well built and a great value for the money.

It didn't overcook it and then went to warm when it was done. I also tried just the slow cooker feature and this also worked great. This is a nice addition to my appliances.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Hamilton Beach Advanced Temp Tracker™ Slow Cooker (MODEL 33867) has many features and is perfect when cooking a 6-lb Chicken or a 4-lb Roast. This oval 6-Qt Slow Cooker includes a Temperature Sensor Probe which stores within the glass lid’s handle. Securing the probe through the lid’s handle is easy since one side of the handle is made to view the storing process of the probe. The glass lid has a gasket seal and is equipped with three separate probe holes for accurate temperature readings (An additional probe insert is located on the crock). Another key attribute to this Slow Cooker are the two side handles which provide locking wire clips to firmly hold the lid in place while traveling (Never clip lid when storing unit / Always store unit with lid ajar). The outside of the Control Panel/Display has the probe jack and three control buttons CANCEL, KEEP WARM, HOLD TEMP. When the unit is turned on the display will show three cook settings LOW, MEDIUM and HIGH all of which have a programming time for up to 24 hours. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great slowcooker! I used a recipe for a sirloin tip roast, that said it would take 8 hours to cook a 4 - 5 lb roast. This was not the case! The roast, cooked using the temperature probe, was cooked in half that time! The roast was tender and juicy and vegetables cooked perfectly, just be sure to put the vegetables in at the start. The unit cleans up very easily. The lid has 3 holes to insert the probe, when cooking using internal temp. One note, when the probe is removed during cooking, you will have to restart the program. The lid on the unit maintains a great seal and uses two clamps, one at each end. the unit has a very modern design and the stainless steel outer covering fits in any decor! I believe this to be a great appliance for anyone looking to replace an existing slowcooker!
