This seed is so easy to use in the spreader bottle.... Just shake and spread for even coverage. I have had great success rate for filling in patches.

We are sorry to hear that this product did not yield as much new grass as you had hoped. It certainly can be frustrating to put the effort into seeding and only see minimal results. Temperature plays a major role in all seeding endeavors. For Cool Season Grasses (Bluegrass, Ryegrass, and Fescue) Soil temperatures must be at least 55 degrees (+12.7 Celsius) for grass seed to germinate. The warmer the soil, the faster the germination. This generally requires daytime temperatures consistently in the 65+ degrees (18.3 Celsius) range. We want you to be confident in our products, this is why we offer a product guarantee. Multiple failed arrempts

I have given this product several chances with the same results each time: no grass. I have found better luck with Patch Master which costs less.

We apologize for the inconvenience experienced when using your EZ Seed Sun and Shade. This product usually receives a good bit of praise because of its speedy growth and the way it grows anywhere so when we get reviews like yours we like to take them very seriously. Here are some things to remember when planting your EZ Seed For Cool Season grasses like Bluegrass, Ryegrass, and different types of Fescues soil temperatures must be at least 55 degrees (+12.7 Celsius) for grass seed to germinate and can take between 4 -21 days to see germination. Warm season grasses like Bermudagrass, Centipede and Zoysia, which germinates in early summer, requires soil temperatures between 75 - 90 degrees (24 - 32 Celsius) and can take between 5-28 days to see visible germination. Watering also plays a defining factor in germination. A deep and thorough initial watering is the key to success with this product. When watering we suggest you keep applying water until the runoff is in excess. this can take several minutes as the product is highly absorbent. Avoid pooling the water. A puddle over the area may slow the products germination or even drown the seed. When the area begins to turn a light brown its time to water again. Also we like to advise out consumers to keep children, pets, and mowers out of the treated area until the grass germinates up to three inches. If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to contact us at http://tinyurl.com/mds8zo5 and one of our representatives would be glad to assist you. We hope this issue has not caused you to lose faith in our product, as we use reviews like yours to maintain and improve the quality product that you and other consumers have come to know and love.
