With quite a few problem areas of all sorts (shade, hill side, etc.) Scotts EZ Seed has managed to grow grass where other products have failed miserably. Of course, I had to prep the area first and then maintain it with water especially but your product made the problem spots in my lawn turn a luscious green. Thank you!

Just rake the soil in those bald spots and apply ezseed and water. Soon the bald spots are gone and you have a beautiful lawn.

I like that is has all the ingredients that you need to repair a bare spot. And it keeps the seed moist because I don't always have the time to water every day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the EZ Seed Patch to repair spots in my lawn this spring and I am very pleased with the results. It is the only way to restore your lawn to PERFECT. My lawn has been restored and I highly recommend it for lawn repair.

I used a 40lb bag to reseed an area affected by bugs. Followed directions explicitly and got great results in an area that's difficult to grow. Although I planted later than usual (after Labor Day) grass is coming in well. I have used this product in the past and have some advice. Make sure that you thoroughly till the soil down to 2" for strong root growth. Keep lightly watering once a day after the grass is 2" high to allow other types of seeds in the mix to germinate. If you stop watering too soon some of the new grass will die back and other seeds will not germinate.

Actually this is a good product however to get the best result, you have to water regularly and follow instruction and be patient. in the end, I got a satisfactory result (not 100%) in an area where nothing worked before. I will keep monitoring the progress hoping it"ll get even better

Larger areas I think I'd prefer regular seed, but still works quickly. I just put it down the day before vacation, came back 6 days later and it started filling in well.

You should prepare your yard by raking up dead grass and loosen any hard soil. Then just sprinkle the seeds, making sure to do a good watering afterwards. Instructions on watering are thorough and should be followed for best results. It's a good product for those bare spots in the lawn.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had rough the soil up an amended it with Scott’s lawn soil which I love then I applied the patch mix and water thoroughly and after two weeks there was nothing but weeds disappointed in this product but do you love all other Scott products

I primarily use this to repair yellow spots caused by my dogs. Just remove the dead grass. Lightly loosen the the top layer of soil. Sprinkle the EZseed. Add water and your done. Even on the hottest summer days if the EZseed has been thouroughly watered I didn't have the need to water it for another 24 hours. I saw grass seedlings coming up within 3 days and they held up to dogs that were still playing and running through the yard. It's not cheap but it works great. In the end it is much cheaper than any other remedies that you can try. My time is worth money & this product is quick to use & quick to see results. I am a thoroughly satisfied customer.
