Bought this product to reseed lawn full of bare spots due to grubs. First raked out old grass, sticks etc. and loosened remaining dirt. Sprinkled Scott ‘s product , as recommended, to just cover exposed soil. Then sprinkled top soil over top of product to just cover it. This kept birds from eating seed, wind and lawn mowers from blowing it away, and rain and water from moving seed. Watered twice a day. Saw first blades of grass at about 4-5 days. After about 3 weeks, grass had grown in so well, I couldn’t tell new growth with existing lawn. Great!

After the prep work is done in the area, I got the container out, sprinkled on the seed and watered lightly. The grass started to grow nicely and now looks great. Would recommend this product to anyone who wants their lawn to look good.

Contractor did all of that work, but the grass came up sparsely and full of weeds. EZ SEED to the rescue. Every where I used this product it has come up quickly, thick and without any weeds. We the used the seed, patch, and repair tall fescue and it worked to perfection filling in the bare spiraling ours the best looking in the neighborhood

I applied Scotts easy seed to the spot I and within seven days I had grass growing again. This product is so simple and easy anybody can use it. Just apply it, water, you have grass.

The grass didnt match up at all texture wise or color wise. None of the grass survived the winter either and all my bare spots were back come spring.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed to patch an area around the edges on the lawn. My gardener cuts the lawn a bit too short. It took a bit of time, however now growing in just fine One thing to remember, watering more often in warm areas.

I live in a very sandy area, where the soil tends to compact often and sometimes that leaves me with patches in my bermuda. I purchased the easy seed and within a month, goodbye bald spots. It does require a significant amount of water, and you can tell exactly when it needs water because it turns a lighter color. If you need to fill in a few spots this is the product. Keep in mind that it has an expiration date on it so you cannot store it for a significant amount of time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] my favorite Scott's product. easy to spread holds plenty of water. when the product needs water the soil changes color. hard to over water as the oil holds so much water. the grass grows quickly and lush. if there is any down fault at all it is for small patches , not large areas.

Wish there was a zero star option. They guarantee it will grow anywhere. Can't even get it to grow in the best environment possible. I hand tilled the bare spots, put the seed down and waited. It was watered, the temp was never below 65, no foot traffic and in sunlight. Not even one blade of grass. Very disappointed.
