The coloring of the grass is a rich green tone similar to marion blue grass seed from decades ago. very pleased with the results and would highly recommend this seed to everyone. I love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had difficulty with the patch installed on April 15th.It was 60 degrees & sunday was near 80 degrees, It took about 2 weeks for grass to grow. when I installed the e-z Grass it started to grow within one week. I loosened the dirt & installed both products by hand.I I also applied Scotts truf builder the 15th of April with great results as usual.

This was the second time in as many warm seasons that I decided to try EZ Seed Patch and Repair. Thinking that I might have gotten a bad container the first time I tried again this year. Followed the directions to the T watering 3 and 4 times a day. NOTHING - NOTHING. Absolutely NO evidence of the "mulch expanding 4X to cover the seed. These patches were scraped and then filled with topsoil with a growing medium before adding this product. Again NOTHING!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The area under my tree was almost bare. I raked it very well, and then spread out the Scotts EZ seed. I watered it every day for a week, and the seed started to sprout. So far it is looking great. A few more weeks and I should have a nice looking lawn again.

I used this product in a very small area, approximately 8' x 12', and used premium top soil about 4" think. Kept it watered according to instuctions and nothing grew. Waited for over 3 weeks and ended up getting ordinary grass seed, Perrinal Rye Grass, and within 10 days of reseeding had perfect grass. This product does not work and is extremely expensive for what you get.

I recently had the city out and drove heavy equipment through my yard They put down some generic grass seed that was very patchy, and looked horrible. There were so many spots, that I really didnt want to try and put down dirt seed and fertilizer. I purchased EZ Seed by Scotts and gave it water for 7 days. I was amazed to see growth in that short of time. MY grass looks great and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Thanks Scotts!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used it many times and as recently as yesterday. I first used it to repair damage done by my puppies from digging & peeing. I also used it to repair damage caused by the winter weather. It comes in fast and looks great.

I bought several bags of this product to fill in thin spots and patch my large lawn. I followed the instructions to the letter and nothing grew! I can only find one receipt but I i will be claiming the refund. My neighbor used a different brand and got very good results so I am going to use it next time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Decided to try this seed in an area that received a lot of foot traffic and the soil was compacted. After loosening the soil and mixing in compost, the seed was spread over the entire area. The first sprouts emerged in about 9 ~ 10 days. After 3 weeks it's filling in evenly and looking good. Now, all I have to do is keep the neighborhood kids off the new lawn!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed to patch an area around the edges on the lawn. My gardener cuts the lawn a bit too short. It took a bit of time, however now growing in just fine One thing to remember, watering more often in warm areas.
