Having the seed and fertilizer all it one, there is no guessing, simple to use, and gives you great results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a few weeks ago to repair some minor spots on my lawn caused by our long winter. The product was Great! I simply loosened the soil and shook it out onto the spot and watered. Once the material was wetted it puffed up a bit covering the seed. It seemed to sprout up quickly and filled in the spot. Great product and simple to use!

We purchased this product at Lowes to fill in bare area after having some trees removed. We followed directions but not have any grass grow to speak of. We used Scotts lawn soil and fertilizer. We had at least 4 inches of soil and used Turf Builder starter per the directions. (The label says that type can be used when planting new grass) Scotts products are usually pretty dependable but this time EZ Seed fizzled...

I have used this product a number of times on small patched areas and it works great. I decided to replace a larger ±500 sf strip of lawn just over a month ago. I removed the existing grass and applied the EZ Seed. I watered pretty regularly (2 times a day, sometimes a light water mid-day). The temperatures were in the 60-70s and sunny. It only took about 7 days for the grass to poke out of the ground, and just about 4 weeks for it grow enough for the first cut. This is the before and after. Since this worked so well I decided to use it for another large patch in the backyard. Again, it only took about a week for the grass to come up and it is almost fully covered. Water regularly and keep traffic off the area.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried EZ Seed on a bare spot that recently had a tree removed. It was very easy and convenient to apply. The first seeds sprouted in about 5 days. And now after 10 days, most have come up. This is a fast and easy repair for small bare spots.

Easy to apply and is coming in very thick. I will see in a few more weeks additional progress as well I suspect!

The container con be refilled after it is empty from a larger bulk container. There are always spots to recondition and having this container on the shelf makes it easy.

All I need to do is pull the drag grass and sprinkle some of this and in two weeks I can’t tell where it was!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotts EZ Seed Sun & Shade gets the job done. Follow the instructions for the best rssults. There were four areas where Scotts EZ Seed Sun & Shade were applied. One spot was about eight inches long and five inches wide. Two others were about fiive inches long and five inches wide. The last one was about three long and three inches wide. I sprinkled every day to keep areas moist. In about ten days I saw the seedlings grow to about one-half inch.

My front yard receives considerable shade. At the end of last summer the lawn developed many bare spots. I thought it was a hopeless situation. I purchased Scotts EZ seed this spring and began filling in the bare patches. After 8 days the seed was sprouting. I now have a gorgeous looking lawn. This product is so EZ to use with the mulch and fertilizer mixed with the seeds. I love, love, love this product. Thank you Scotts!!!!
