I solved the problem by installing 4 X 4 lighted posts on the edge of my lawn adjoining the street. Once installed I filled the ruts with Miracle Gro top soil and spread Scott’s EZ Seed - this fast growing patch filled in the ruts with thick luscious grass in no time flat. If you need a quick patch for your lawn, you can’t go wrong with Scott’s EZ Seed.

I had some dry, bald patches in my yard. Those spots get direct light which can be a little brutal in Colorado. I needed something to maintain a little moisture and this stuff did exactly that. The grass that has grown is a rich, deep green that looks and feels sturdy. Placed in yard June 3, 2023. By June 20th we had lots of promising tiny, new growth. Now, at July 15th, those patches are nearly filled with new grass crowding the area. Very happy with this purchase. (For reference: May 12th I had put out some Scott's Turf Builder in the yellow bag.)

I purchased EZseed to plant in bare spots around my yard where the grass was not growing. I followed the directions to the letter. The results were not so good! Very little grass grew in these areas. I was dissatifed with the results. I have been happy with most of the other Scotts products that I have used in the past. I would not recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fantastic all-in-one product. I don't have to lug around soil to top off the seeds anymore! And the birds seem to be uninterested in the mixture so I am able to get full coverage and great germination. The extra fertilizer is a plus!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been very rainy here so I applied the grass seed to a few bare spots in the lawn a few weeks ago. New grass is emerging repairing some of the bare shady areas. I was hesitant to use the product so late in the year, but it seems to be working well.

I used this product to fill in any area about 10 ft. by 8 ft. and it worked great. When I purchased the product, I even weighed the seed to see how close it came to what was listed on the container and found that Scott's put in almost an extra full pound of seed "above" what was listed on the plastic container. Thanks Scotts! I will use this product again in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had three areas where I did remove trees and bushes, did use other seeds but they did not survive well, and then I tried EZseed and the patches were gone, new grass all over the areas, I highly recommend this product.

I have been very particular about my lawns. I had a few areas that were damaged by the public service company's equipment during an extensive gas line repair. Although I used Scott's grass seed and starter fertilizer, I was not having much success. So I gave the EZ seed a try last Fall. It was very easy to use, and very effecient. After following the simple instructions , I had a hugh success in less than three weeks!! It was so good , I used it again this Spring with the same fantastic results.
