I live in Pennsylvania, I applied this product in the middle of May when the temperatures were between 70 and 80 degrees. I followed the directions in regards to the amount to put down, and kept it moist, which meant I put a little bit of water down in the morning and again in the evening unless it rained. it is now about 10 days later and I have grass coming up. the product works well!

Sorry, but I got nothing out of this product. I followed the instructions exactly, and nothing ever came of it, even after multiple tries. I figured because this product is so expensive, I must have done something wrong. I only wish I would have saved the receipts so that I could have used the money-back guarantee.

The secret to success is to keep the seed mixture wet (damp) day and night. Cool weather during the Fall season is also very helpful for quick germination of the seed. This is a superior grass product.

I have used this product a number of times on small patched areas and it works great. I decided to replace a larger ±500 sf strip of lawn just over a month ago. I removed the existing grass and applied the EZ Seed. I watered pretty regularly (2 times a day, sometimes a light water mid-day). The temperatures were in the 60-70s and sunny. It only took about 7 days for the grass to poke out of the ground, and just about 4 weeks for it grow enough for the first cut. This is the before and after. Since this worked so well I decided to use it for another large patch in the backyard. Again, it only took about a week for the grass to come up and it is almost fully covered. Water regularly and keep traffic off the area.

I used this product to reseed thin shaded areas and several bare areas in my lawn. I hand spread the product and was careful to have some dirt showing as instructed and kept it moist. Grass grew well in planting areas where the mulch that is included in the product happened to be amply applied. Seeds did not germinate elsewhere. I believe that there is not enough mulch in the product and the mulch is not evenly distributed in the bag. I used a 40 lb bag.

My front yard receives considerable shade. At the end of last summer the lawn developed many bare spots. I thought it was a hopeless situation. I purchased Scotts EZ seed this spring and began filling in the bare patches. After 8 days the seed was sprouting. I now have a gorgeous looking lawn. I keep a bottle of EZseed and a bag of soil on-hand for a quick fix. Fill the rut and shake down some EZseed and its fixed before you know it. EZseed is so full proof It's now my 11 year old's job to do the repair. Having the spot repaired and grass growing so quick give her a sense of pride in her job. I don't think any other product on the market would work that fast.

Used product to fill in bald patches, followed directions and ended up with very thin coverage. I think they give you 2 ounces of seed in every 10 pound package. The rest is filler. Would not use this product again and would not recommend it to friends.
