i got 6 of these and they grow very nicely. after 6 to 8 weeks the gress just died off. i like scotts but this stuff is no good. your blue grass and pa mix grow better. after spending over 200 on grass seed and starter fertilizer i have very little grass. i just started new grass last week and things are looking good so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used EZ Seed multiple times during the spring -summer of 2014, and constantly felt the need to re seed, as the applications didn't trully all take effect. I thought for certain the grass would come back after the winter, but to my disappointment....the areas I used the EZ Seed are absolutely dead. The grass never made it through the winter.

My front yard receives considerable shade. At the end of last summer the lawn developed many bare spots. I thought it was a hopeless situation. I purchased Scotts EZ seed this spring and began filling in the bare patches. After 8 days the seed was sprouting. I now have a gorgeous looking lawn. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product in an area under some trees where my dog had dug up the lawn. The product was easy to use since you just open and shake it put. There was little mess to deal with. After a little water and some time the grass sprouted and looks great. Let's just hope the dog keeps off the spot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had three areas where I did remove trees and bushes, did use other seeds but they did not survive well, and then I tried EZseed and the patches were gone, new grass all over the areas, I highly recommend this product.

Sorry, but I got nothing out of this product. I followed the instructions exactly, and nothing ever came of it, even after multiple tries. I figured because this product is so expensive, I must have done something wrong. I only wish I would have saved the receipts so that I could have used the money-back guarantee.

Used this multiple times to patch areas of a newly seeded lawn. Mine could have been out of date but it was dead when it hit the soil. No sprouting, growth.. Anything.. Tried clear poly-sheeting to raise the temperature and humidity to no avail. Went back to the old, "good local seed, good soil and peat moss cover method", and everything got back on track. It's a great idea, but I think it needs to be localized more to specific growing zones. Probably something that a local warehouse store could give a rip about..

It seemed simple to apply and Scott has a great reputation for their projects to perform well. I was not disappointed. This product did as it was advertised. Easy to apply in the bare spots, water and it didn’t take long to start growing. It was formulated to work well, fill in with good quality grass. It worked!! I’m happy with the results.

With quite a few problem areas of all sorts (shade, hill side, etc.) Scotts EZ Seed has managed to grow grass where other products have failed miserably. Of course, I had to prep the area first and then maintain it with water especially but your product made the problem spots in my lawn turn a luscious green. Thank you!
