With quite a few problem areas of all sorts (shade, hill side, etc.) Scotts EZ Seed has managed to grow grass where other products have failed miserably. Of course, I had to prep the area first and then maintain it with water especially but your product made the problem spots in my lawn turn a luscious green. Thank you!

After the city completed work on my block, an area on my lawn was dug up and without grass. I put Scotts Turf Builder Ez seed on the area and watered it approximately 2 1/2 hours daily and on the 4th day, grass was sprouting. I am very pleased with the growth that has occurred on my lawn.

The secret to success is to keep the seed mixture wet (damp) day and night. Cool weather during the Fall season is also very helpful for quick germination of the seed. Sorry, but I got nothing out of this product. I followed the instructions exactly, and nothing ever came of it, even after multiple tries. I figured because this product is so expensive, I must have done something wrong. I only wish I would have saved the receipts so that I could have used the money-back guarantee.

after spreading beautifully what i noticed was dusty mulchy dirt mixed with a few stray grass seeds nothing grew but for a few blades of grass in a tiny section of my lawn. total waste of time tenderly keeping off the lawn, watering and watching - very dissatisfied.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brought this awhile ago for some areas of patch grass in your yard - so far it’s done a pretty good job. The grass is coming back slowly and not to much of a mess. Hope it keeps growing, just seems to be a slow growing back.

I used this product to fill in any area about 10 ft. by 8 ft. and it worked great. When I purchased the product, I even weighed the seed to see how close it came to what was listed on the container and found that Scott's put in almost an extra full pound of seed "above" what was listed on the plastic container.
