The low dose aspirin is small and easy to swallow. It has an enteric coating making it easier on the stomach which is important for daily use. There are 365 tablets in the bottle, which covers one year of daily dosage. This keeps life simple.

I guess if you needed to give a child medication this would be an appropriate lower dose. But it is kind of silly because you have to take at least 4 for a standard adult dose of pain reliever. Not for me.
