If you often feel your bed is too soft the Stearns & Foster Lux Estate Ultra Firm Tight Top is the mattress for you. I lay on the floor because it help my back but since having this matress, I no longer need to. It is very firm, the firmest matress Ive ever used and it doesn't make me sink down . Since having it, my hips and back no longer have pain. I sleep longer and wake up refreshed and without pain. My previous matress was semi-firm but gave out after a few weeks. It started having dips and was extremely soft. After a few weeks of using the Stearns & Foster Lux Estate Ultra Firm Tight Top, it still holds up its firmest. This matress is thick where a box spring would sit you up really high off the floor. I would recommend a bunky board instead of a box spring. If you do enjoy laying on the floor, this is the matress for you! You wont regret it.Definitely recommended this product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Obviously we sleep on this mattress. We have had it for about a week now. The first night was a little rough adjusting from a very soft to a very firm mattress. However since that first night i don't think i have ever woken up feeling so refreshed in a long time. I used to wake up several times a night, unfortunate result from insomnia. But, since getting this mattress, my nightly wake ups have been significantly less and even none a few nights. My back isn't hurting as much. But perhaps the best part is myself and my husband are not snoring as much. I have enjoy the height of the mattress, it is taller than our old one.

I have the Lux Estate Soft Pillowtop. Its a VERY hot mattress to sleep on. I have never been a hot sleeper but on this mattress, I have turned into one thanks to the Tempur Indulge foam. (This is NOT my first rodeo with memory foam). I have tried 100% Bamboo sheets, low thread count sheets, no mattress protector, and keeping my thermostat at 67 degrees while I sleep. Nothing has helped me sleep cool on this mattress. I even called Stearns' customer service and the Rep said that the cooling cover on the Lux Estate just doesn't work well for everyone. I stopped by a local mattress store yesterday and spoke with the salesman about the heat issues on this mattress. He wasnt shocked and actually told me he expects to hear more complaints about this bed holding heat. He agreed that the vents on the side of the mattress are more cosmetic than anything. It doesnt aid in cooling the mattress whatsoever. I am currently in the process of trying to buy a new (non Stearns and Foster) bed. Aside from the heat, the mattress is comfy for the 3 weeks I have had it. Its a medium soft feel and I am a strict side sleeper.

This has not been what I was hoping for after spending all this money! I have the pillow top firm and it is lumpy in the middle and sinks where you sleep and only had this one month! I believe this is the worst I have ever slept on and hopefully can get something else! Sales lady talked me into a firm which I normally hate!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I went from a king size bed to this queen size bed so we had to get used to sleeping that close to each other again, but after we got used to that I slept SO GOOD. I feel like the mattress adjust to my body perfectly giving me amazing support no matter which way I laid. The plush pillow top makes me feel like I am laying on a marshmallow cloud, it is so soft, but the mid firm layer under helped keep me from feeling like I was sinking down to far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the comfiest mattress I have ever slept on. The pillowtop is as soft as a cloud and cushions and cradles you when you lay on it. I sank right in, but the rest of the mattress is thick and firm enough that I still get the suport I need for my back. I knew I was going to like this mattress, I didn't know it was going to change my sleep as much as it did; snuggles the insomnia away.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stearns & Foster sent me this Lux Estate Soft Pillowtop Mattress in queen size for free so that I could review it. For that, I am incredibly grateful! I honestly wasn't expecting much from the mattress. As someone who suffers from an autoimmune disease, I've grown accustomed to aches and pains. For background, I added a 3" memory foam topper to my old bed just to sleep comfortably. My family likes to travel, and I actually take memory foam with me to try to make sleeping on a different mattress tolerable. I expected this new mattress to be a similar experience. I planned to try it for a few nights so that I could provide my (expected to be negative) point of view and then compare/contrast with my husband's opinion while I went back to my 3" memory foam. Now here I am, weeks later... No memory foam in sight! And I haven't even asked my husband's opinion. For the record, he hasn't complained, which basically means he likes it. I have no idea how the mattress does it, but I've been sleeping really, really well - no tossing and turning or waking up periodically throughout the night. I fall asleep quickly and wake up in the same position hours later. I had no idea how not-well-rested I was feeling until now. It's been amazing. Only time will tell if the experience continues, but I am feeling extremely optimistic. This isn't the outcome I expected, but I am so happy that the mattress has completely defied my expectations! One final note that I must throw in, even though it's completely irrelevant: the mattress is gorgeous! The deep blue with pattern... I'm sad that it has to be covered up; it fits the Lux Estate name perfectly.

With the Advance Motion adjustable base I can elevate my feet to reduce swelling. I love the soft feel of the mattress. It seems to fit my body and it is comfortable to sleep on. I don't love the depressions. They feel like there is a hole in the mattress. I don't love the rounded top. When I sit on the edge, it feels like I am going to slide off. I could lower the frame, but then I wouldn't be able to store plastic tubs underneath like my former mattress. i am looking forward to getting used to this mattress.

We've had our Estate luxury firm mattress for almost 14 years now and it's by far the best mattress I've ever slept on, luxury hotels included. Even after vacations to luxury resorts I can't wait to sleep on our own mattress again! I always recommend it to everyone. I know it'll be ready for an update in a year or so, it's starting to sag a little in the middle of the sides, where we sit before getting up. I wish I could keep it for life!

It has been very comfortable and my lower back thanks me! I do feel the mattress sleeps warmer that our last mattress but it's not a deal breaker. I am haven't noticed any sag yet and I'm hoping it stays that way. All in all it's a nice upgrade!
