Have had these on our screened in porch for years and use them as benches until we have Sunday “low country boil’ for family, then use as a table. I put lemon oil on the simulated wood, hoping to preserve them. We bought a set for our daughter’s family and they keep them out on their patio.

We bought this bench a few months ago. It's in a very shady spot and gets used frequently, both as a bench and as a table. Perfect place for the two of us to eat a meal outside. Very easy to transform from bench to table. We might get another one for extra seating for company.

I've purchased two of these and the functionality and design is great. I didn't buy both at the same time so unfortunately one has exposed fasteners while the other does not. The one without exposed fasteners is a much cleaner design and looks polished. Love not having to maintain wood.

I bought two of these, and they were delivered quickly to my home. Assembly was a bit tedious, but it was able to do both units in about 3 hours total. There was a manufacturing defect with the hinges which caused both units not to lock in place when in the bench position. I sent an email to customer service and received a prompt reply from Luke asking for pictures. I sent photos, and he responded the same day and placed an order for replacement hinges. I've already gotten an email for the parts order. I honestly did not expect to get such fine service on this issue. In spite of the problem, I highly recommend this product. It's heavy duty and looks great, and the conversion from bench to picnic table is quick and easy.

I bought six of these convertible benches for an apartment complex and I am very impressed with the workmanship and quality of this product. The materials are above standard grade and believe it or not, you can actually read and understand the instructions on how to put them together. Well done Lifetime!!! If you are looking for a comfortable and nice looking bench that converts into a table top, this is the one you are looking for. It is very heavy duty and by the looks of it, it's going to be around for a long time. My hats off to you Lifetime for making a great product. Next time I need a product for the apartment complex, I will be looking at Lifetime products first.

We bought seven benches for our school and one slat was broken. We called the Wholesale warehouse we purchased it from and they wanted us to disassemble the bench and return the whole product. We did not want to do this when all we needed was a replacement slat. I called Lifetime company direct and Nick was very helpful and will send a replacement slat with no problem. Great Customer Service!

we bought two to make a pick nick table together. first one i followed directions exactly, took a while, second one was a snap. their good solid benches and lifetime products are wear great. they look awesome and will work perfect for what we wanted. thanks lifetime

I have had the convertible bench on my patio for about a year and half now. I love it. It's sturdy and beautiful. I generally tilt the top into a table for potted plants and use the bench for sitting to put on shoes. I don't recall it being difficult to put together as another poster suggested. I am a mid 50's woman and pretty handy I guess. I did it myself. You know when you buy it you need to assemble it. That's why it's priced so well. I'm considering getting another because I think they are such nice product. I have the bistro set as well. I wish they would make other matching products like maybe a larger table and chairs set or just a plain garden bench.

We have this item for very many years. I don't even remember the year of purchase. Although it is somewhat degraded and the plastic is slightly warped after being in the outside elements for a long time it is still very functional. I recently called to request replacement bolts and the customer service team was very helpful and I did receive them.

I bought 2 of these years ago for outside patio use. I live on the intracoastal waterway in South Florida. They have withstood the salt air very well. I had a slight problem and the customer service resolved the issue by replacing some parts even though my units were out of warranty. I highly reccomend these products.
