Dryer cannot exhaust hot air out vents that run up to the roof. Requires additional purchase and installation of exhaust fan. Terrible that LG can't build a dryer capable of handling this and even worse they don't disclose it to buyers ahead of time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just one week after delivery of our new washer & dryer, the power button, the start/stop button and the rectangular selection screen went dark. These all still function, but do not illuminate. Unplugging and re-plugging the dryer makes the buttons light up correctly again, but only for a few uses.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received the dryer a couple of months ago. Love the cycle choices and AI cycle. The light in the dryer makes it easy to find a single item (for those like me that may procrastinate folding the entire load).

Bought this as a companion piece to the WM5500HVA washing machine. It has a HUGE capacity at 7.4 cubic feet, while have the dimensions of a much smaller machine, making it fit perfectly in our tight laundry room space. Lot's of great features including AI drying. Will lengthen or shorten the drying time depending on the dampness of the load. It also has a steam function which is so great. No more throwing ice cubes in the dryer when I want to take the wrinkles out of my dress shirts. Very happy with this purhcase.

I orderd my dryer from the LG web site. I was anxious because I wasnt sure how smooth it would go. As it turned out- evrything went well, even when I needed to change the delivery and installation date. Also, I researched and learned that I got a better price ordering directly from LG. I had a complicated install with it being a stacked unit and installed in a smaller, yet adaquate laundry closet. The installers were excellent and gained my full confidence. The paired units are awesome. The controls are user friendly and I love how quiet the machines run. I could not more satisfied and happy. Thank you LG!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dryer 6 months ago and I can't be happier. The steam feature helps remove wrinkles from clothing after being taken out of storage for the winter. All my clothes are dried beautifully. I purchased the pedestal and so glad I did... no bending over to remove items from the drum.

Pros: Much quieter than our prior dryer. Lots of options/functionality and the app works pretty well. Nice appearance--I like the look. Cons: Very disappointed in steam function--steam function leaves clothes completely soaked. It was one of the reasons we bought this model and we are really angry that this doesn't work as advertised. Potential quality issues? Our drum is already squeaking (but that may have been caused by the repair person trying to fix the steam function). No delay start function?
