Great purchase!

The mailbox is beautiful and enhances the curb appeal. You will want to purchase a platform for the mailbox to sit on and then secure that with the mailbox to post. With the new post secured to the old post and the mailbox secured to the post, there is still movement. Note: Wiggling/movement when opening and closing the mailbox, but gizmo is secured tight.

Looks great, but... finding a mailbox to attach will require some investigation. The one we chose could only be attached with a board underneath. It is still a bit wobbly. We did attempt to put a very long screw through the back of the mailbox into the post. But there is a gap between the mail box and the post. We planned to slip it over the original post but that put the mail box too close to the street so we set a new post. July in Texas is not the time to be working on a new mailbox, but it turned out very nice.

We bought a 4x4 and put this post over it. It is really sturdy and protects the wood.

It was easy to assemble but you do need to drill thru the plastic for ease of attaching lag bolts. I also added a lag bolt below the mailbox arm to secure it more.

Looks great but really poor design to make it work when mounting the mailbox. Arm that holds the mailbox needs to be designed to fit a mailbox without modification

not worth the price. thought this was a vynal mailbox but came in the same material as the preschool toy cars. there were color defects and minor defects to the top portion. Had to just install and use due to needing to get my mailbox fixed.

The main post sleeve is okay, but the arm where mailbox is attached is very flimsy

This did not come with instructions. The only thing included was the post. Even though it said instructions and all materials required for set-up were included. The decorative arm to hold the mailbox was missing. We are calling Walmart now as this is completely out of stock. We also waited 2 weeks for this item (they delayed shipping twice). The post we received was nice and looked exactly the way I wanted it, but nothing came with it! Useless if there is nothing to hang the mailbox on
