I have several Meat thermometers but this one is the best. When you put the spike into the steak just make sure its in the middle of the meat to get the best results.

I should have invested in this a long time ago. It has made monitoring the temperature so much easier. It also seems to be more accurate than my other thermometers.

Works fantastic.. if you are smoking something for a very long time the battery will run out on it. 14-16 hours but I love it

Worked great monitoring internal meat temperature and external ambient temperature. Only downside is the battery got very low after 10hrs of smoking. Probably would not have lasted if I smoked longer.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my friend he loves it says they work great also said the Bluetooth probe not only tells you the internal temp but as the temp outside of the meat

Very sleek and easy to use thermometer for outdoor smoking or grilling. New or Old pitmasters can take it anywhere. Bought one to keep at home and another on the road. You never know when it will come in handy. Can be a little tricky at first (if you don't read the instructions) but once you've got it down, it is easy to use and clean.

I recently used my Wireless Bluetooth Spike to barbeque marinated flank steak. I downloaded the app, set up my preferred temperature, put the spike in the meat and let the Spike do the rest. The results were fantastic! It's great to be able to read the internal temperature of the meat, and the temperature of the Barbeque at the same time. The ThermoPro Spike sent the temperature to my cell, and let me know when the temperature reached 155 degrees. The meat turned out PERFECT, medium rare, and I attribute it to the ThermoPro Spike.

Used this thermometer for the first time today. Everything worked great and like the features. The biggest drawback is the range. It is rated at 300+ feet but my first outing only yielded about 30 - 40 feet from patio to the inside of the house. Really liked the dual temperature capability. I was able to see the difference between my pellet smoker temp and what was really happening in the upper part of the smoker. Even with this limitation, I would still recommend this thermometer.

Blue tooth doe not stay connect all of the time. Have to reconnect every time I want to check on meat.

Works great as a thermometer. Gives accurate internal as well as ambient temperatures. The big issue is that it loses connectivity at much shorter distance than advertised. If I'm not within 30-40 feet of the base, I can't connect with the app. That part is disappointing.
