MUST BUY!

From some of the reviews on here with 4 stars or lower, I do not know what's wrong with their product. The product that I received was perfectly fine. I'm 5'5" and it is more than perfect for my height. I weight around 168 lbs and it is solid. Highly recommend!

Even with price it's not good enough

Bolts that hold the upperbody support stripped very easily trying to attach it to the bottom. I had to drill out new holes and my own bolts. I should have just returned it, because when I went to use it I realize the support for the lower body just doesn't cut it. Not having anything to dig your feet into, or something to clamp on your shins/ankles just makes it not good enough to get the exercise that you're supposed to get. This is supposed to be a concentric exercise in your lower back, and an eccentric exercise for your hams, with the glutes somewhere in the middle of that. Instead you have to really focus on curling your legs back against the calf pads, putting the tension into your hams. This could be remedied by having a second pad for your shin, that would allow you to "let go" of your legs and do the hyper extension.. trying to figure out how I can mod this to work.

Great product for the money

Delivery was much quicker than indicated when ordering, assembly was relatively easy, and the item is much sturdier than expected. My only complaint is the lack of any usage instructions. While I have experimented with the various settings to find a comfortable way to exercise, I feel like I may not be getting the most out of this piece of equipment. Otherwise, I feel like this item is a great deal for the price.

Great Deal

I was looking for a Roman Chair ab bench, but all the prices were sky high. I saw this one, for less than $68 with free shipping. I jumped right on it. Put it together in a flash. All parts are numbered, The instructions were very easy to understand and all parts were numbered. The knob had a crack in it, but was still functional. The next day I call customer service, and they told me they would ship me out another knob today. Great service. By the way, the bench has been sold out at most places. Why? Because it compares to Roman Chairs selling for 2 to 3 times the price. I am a happy camper!

Great piece of equipment

This Roman Chair is a great piece of equipment for strengthening 'the core'! I truly wish I'd gotten it much sooner. I utilized this same (type) of equipment many, many times in several different gyms during the 30 yrs. or so that I consistently 'worked out'. I am 60 years old now and don't work out with the fervor and vigor I once did-but I have never ceased working out altogether. My focus has changed, as have my needs-now that I am a 60 year old woman. :) I certainly consider strengthening my core very important at this stage of my life. I'm the caregiver of my elderly mother, who has been living with us for going on 3 yrs. now. Because of that, I do a lot of lifting! After a lifetime of weight lifting my arms and legs are still quite strong for a woman if my age... but I really need to keep my core strong for my own safety as well as my mothers. This piece if equipment is ideal for that. I enjoy using it...I always did before & I am very grateful that I still do! I would recommend it to anyone of any age or gender. Keeping our core strong is advisable for ALL people.

Great value, Great Price

I bought this because I wanted to be able to do the back extension at home. This is the cheapest one I could find anywhere and it is a great overall value. The padding is a little lacking but really that is the only problem I have with this. I can do exactly what I want with this unit and really cant complain about anything. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to do sit ups and back extensions for a great price! Do site to store and you don't even have to pay for shipping! Great overall value!
