I've had recurring lower back pain for quite a while. My chiropractor advised me to work on my core strength so the back muscles could do their job of stabilizing the vertebrae and keep them aligned properly. After two weeks of using this Roman Chair on a recurring basis, my back pain has decreased significantly and still improving. My back muscles are much stronger now. I have been able to return to doing the things I enjoy, that I have not been able to do for a while. I will continue to use it as part of a regular exercise routine.

This product was very simple to assemble. Took me a while to put the handle bars on. But less than 45 mins to put together. I like every aspect to of it. I even use a weight vest to increase the maximum performance on my work out. The only negative I have about it that their is limited space between the seat and my private area it can be bothersome. Lol but for a woman it should be no problem at all.

Easy to put together. For the price you pay it's a good deal. It's a little unsteady but I get the workout I want from it. I am 5'8" so I wasn't worried about the reviews that complain about the height limitations. I use it for my back and turn around and use it for abs.

I have had massive lower back problems and have had a tough time standing or sitting for long periods. This was one of my last hopes before seeking surgery and after a couple of weeks my back was feeling much better. My only negative is that being a guy, the seat is uncomfortable in the crouch area.

Only thing I dilike is the heavy Chemical smell coming from the padding. Spells like some type of petrolium derivitive of some sorts (makes my clothes stink!!!. Not surprised coming from China though. I tried to wipe, wash etc. but still there. Gonna replace the padding and cover myself. other than than that, all good. Structure is sound.

i have a lower back condition that prevent me from doing sit ups in certain ways. i set up this bench in about an hour, started to work out, and my lower back has strengthen 100 per cent. also the price is great and all parts were in the package. if you are looking to add an addition to your work out abs, i definitely recommended this bench.

Our bench came in and we have one bolt that is too small for the hole. We have tried to reach the customer service for one week and their automated service puts you in a loop then hangs up on you. Their email address (info@impex-fitness.com) is under construction, so we have NO way to reach them. Very disappointed and will never buy from Impex again.

Solid product for the most part, except for the plastic. The welds were great and the paint was good. So, it's not some cheap junk, worth the money without a doubt. I had no issue with the instructions, very easy. Be sure to have a 5/8 socket and a wrench, an Allen wrench comes with. that's all you will need to put it together.

The Roman Chair/Hyperextension bench JD 3.1 was easy to assemble and is very well built. It does exactly what I wanted it to do in my exercise routine. I use it to strengthen my lower back muscles and abs. For the price, this is an excellent addition to my weight room.

My wife and I had been looking for a good hyperextension bench for quite some time. I was a little concerned when she told me she had purchased this one... After putting the unit together (instructions were a joke, bring a socket set & wrenches) I found it to be more than sturdy for my 6' 180lb frame, yet still able to adapt to my wife's 5'2" 115lb frame. Absolutely zero issues to report thus far. Excellent design. Heavy duty frame and hardware. All in all - best value I've seen for this price hands down.
