Good Product!

Over all it's a good product for the price. Easy to assemble and sturdy. I think a few improvements could be made in the design in order to make the bench more versatile, so that you could do side bends more comfortably, but it's definitely good for hyperextensions which it was designed for.

great isolation

I love this bench. It was a very good price. It really isolates the lower back muscles in a safe way. It works them without a feeling like you are going to hurt your back. It also hits the hamstrings and glutes well too. Very happy with this purchase.

Perfect for home gym

Have used my Roman Chair for a few weeks now and am very satisfied. It's stable and comfortable while still lightweight enough to move around in my small weight room. My only criticism would be the pad. I have a high end adjustable bench and the difference in the pads are noticeable. For $65 though I would say it's good enough. We'll see how it holds up. This is an incredible value, since others are over $100.

Great addition for Home GYM.

Was checking my emails and I was asked to review my recent purchase. So hopefully this helps. I wish I would knew about this Bench before. The reason being is because this bench works my abs way better than my sit up bench and core ball. My abs (upper, middle and lower) are fully engaged. And yes my obliques as well. This was the main reason why I bought this bench. Who really loves "love handles". Anyway I'm 5'9" and weigh 180 lbs. The padding is adequate, and the bench is very sturdy. I just looked at the diagrams and put the thing together. It took I say about 20 or so minutes to put it together. Also I checked into getting another brand since I thought that this might be too good to be true but thought to myself I'd just return it if it was not up to par. I also own the ab rockect and an assited ab crunch unit. If you buy this bench and use it on a regular basis as well as watch your food intake you'll get results. Hope this helps. Remember walmart does have a return policy if your still curious about it. But if your like me you still have it and won't regret it.

The best way to do sit ups.

The Roman Chair is great for doing situps. One thing about this chair, it is very high off the ground. There is no way to lower the seat. It's even high for a guy. You feel like you might fall off. Should be a way to adjust the seat lower.

Very sturdy product and east to put together

This product is well made, very sturdy and strong. The directions were very easy to follow and it was very easy to put together. I put it together by myself in about 30 min and was able to use right away.

Great equipment for the price.

I assembled the bench by myself. The next day my brother helped me "reset" some of the bolts so the bench was balanced. The instructions recommend that two people assemble the bench and I can see how that helps.

Heavy duty

it works well... sturdy. I was worried because I'm 6 foot 250 lbs. But it's very stable. It does take up a lot of room though, and it isn't fold able.

great product

it was easy to assemble and I started using it immediately. I keep it close to the TV so I can use it easily. Even my 9 and 10 year olds use it to work on their "six-packs".
