Not very sturdy

My old roman chair somehow did not make the move so I purchased this one to hold me until I had funds to purchase something better. It is somewhat wobbly even though I secured all the screws and bolts tightly. I use it but not as much as I'd like to due to fear that it will fall apart. I would not recommend this product. Please go buy a more expensive one as I should have done.

Great Product

I am very happy with the Roman Extension Chair. From the first day I used it i felt it working correctly in the right areas. It is very difficult to do sit ups on the floor or on cushions for that matter. This product is the best thing for back and abdoman. It is incredible how you start to feel the strength in your back from the first day. I really love and recommend this product.

Good for what it is..

Great for ab and lower back exercises. Arrived quickly. Assembly was quick and easy about 20-30 minutes. After completion noticed that not everything aligned perfectly but that can be expected with at home gym equipment. Overall good buy and would recommend most Marcy products to friends.

Good for the price

My biggest gripe is the lack of an exersize guide, and the assembly manual may be confusing for some. I just don't understand why a piece of excersize equipment wouldn't come with instructions on how to use it. I understand that it is a pretty simple device, but instructions would be nice.

Great for my back

Used one of these in a gym years ago and found that the workout strengthened my lower back muscles. Fast forward several years and add occasional back pain. This helps fix that pain and conveniently at home. Solidly built. The assembly instructions are poor, basically an exploded diagram that you have to decipher. Not too difficult though. Happy with the purchase.

Great Deal

I was looking for a Roman Chair ab bench, but all the prices were sky high. I saw this one, for less than $68 with free shipping. I jumped right on it. Put it together in a flash. All parts are numbered, The instructions were very easy to understand and all parts were numbered. The knob had a crack in it, but was still functional. The next day I call customer service, and they told me they would ship me out another knob today. Great service. By the way, the bench has been sold out at most places. Why? Because it compares to Roman Chairs selling for 2 to 3 times the price. I am a happy camper!

Feel the burn

We had one of these in the weight room at high school. I was one of the only ones to use it. I got great results in strengthing my lower back and ab areas. I've used this one for a week and hoping to get the same results. It was very easy to assemble. Took maybe took 20 mins. I know it's working because I'm feeling sore in the areas that should feel sore. Pushing through and I know I'll see results soon.

MUST BUY!

From some of the reviews on here with 4 stars or lower, I do not know what's wrong with their product. The product that I received was perfectly fine. I'm 5'5" and it is more than perfect for my height. I weight around 168 lbs and it is solid. Highly recommend!

Perfect for home gym

Have used my Roman Chair for a few weeks now and am very satisfied. It's stable and comfortable while still lightweight enough to move around in my small weight room. My only criticism would be the pad. I have a high end adjustable bench and the difference in the pads are noticeable. For $65 though I would say it's good enough. We'll see how it holds up. This is an incredible value, since others are over $100.

Sturdy piece, awesome price

Amazing value, cheapest price out there. I was worried that for such a cheap price this product would be weak or flimsy, but it is awesome. We are so happy with our purchase. Works well for my husband, and works well for me too - the only downside is that it's a little difficult for me to get up on, I have to jump ( I'm 5'1) but that's nothing a stool can't fix. It only took us about 15-20 mins to put together.
