Purchased a few weeks ago. Simple set up took about 30 minutes. Hardest part was coming up with a security pin. To activate the system just answer a few questions online, confirm on key pad and you're all set. Can call company for assistance to activate if you prefer. So glad we did our research and chose SimpliSafe

This was my first online purchase from Sam's Club and I was very pleased. Item arrived right on time with no issues. This is my third Simplisafe system and all I can say is get it. Very easy to set up and install and the alarm/monitoring works great.

I had been looking at this when I got the sale flyer and decided to give it a try. So simple to set up and its give a me some peace of mind.

I purchased this system about a month ago and am very satisfied with it. I would have rated it a 5 star except for a disappointment. I discovered that the SimpliCam is of little use unless you pay a monthly fee to activate it to monitor. Without the extra fee, you can only turn it on from an app on your phone to see what is going on at a given time. It will not set off the alarm as a motion sensor without paying for monitoring. I would still recommend it with the advice of clarifying extra monthly costs.

It is a good system so far. Easy to install yourself. I chose the $14.99 a month monitoring plan for more flexibility

It was easy to install the contacts and set up the system. Instructions on naming the contacts could be clearer. The reason I only gave it a 3-star rating is because 2 of the 4 contacts came with old battery. As soon as I removed to tape to activate those 2 contacts, I was told that the battery is low. Now I have to get new batteries to replace them before installing the contacts. That wasted my time and is not acceptable when the system is supposed to be brand new. New system should have everything that is new and definitely the batteries in those 2 contacts are not new. It also make me wonder whether those contacts are new.

So far pretty good. 3 Star cuz the USB cable to the camera is defective. I used one of my own to make it work. The Motion Sensors and Wireless Keypad definitely need to be redesigned to mount better with better mounting brackets. The Mickey Mouse screw they come with are not sufficient to mount on drywall. Drywall screw have a slightly bigger head, can't use them cuz the mounting bracket was designed to kiss up to the device, no room for the screw head. I came from a Comcast/Xfinity Security System, although this package is a great savings, you get what you pay for. Devices lack quality. Programming is an issue and needs to be improved. It will let you Arm the system even if you forgot to close the door/s, etc. Why? Wireless Keypad, you can arm the system and never records who armed it and same from cell phone. Overall: System works, good price, not something I will brag about quality.... but it's good but definitely needs improvements. Yes buy it and hopefully my review will open some eyes. I am a electronics and security guru and I see the good and the bad.

I know this system gets great ratings.. but for the most basic part of this system it CHARGES a SUBSCRIPTION FEE to access and use the Mobile App.. unconscionable.. I could see charging a fee for monitoring like most other services but what reputable company would charge a fee just to monitor and use the App to control the system for personal use

The glue on the motion sensors are weak. Don't even bother using the tape that comes with the product. I've had the product for three weeks and had to replace them twice.

Completely useless unless you buy a service subscription of $25 a month. You can't even monitor it yourself unless you subscribe to the service. On top of that, weak adhesive. Luckily, because I removed every sensor and returned it the same day I received it.
