We got the mattress for less than a year and its already sagging. We have tried to communicate with the service department and all they refused to exchange the mattress because its not curvy enough. This is ridiculous and its causing psychological issues that we cant even fall asleep properly. We are so disappointed in both the quality of the mattress and the service!

My mom and I both purchased mattresses through Ashley, thinking we just bought the best mattress on the market and for our price range. Wow were we wrong!! We filed claims and they offered us replacements which we accepted. Once receiving them, we discovered they were worse quality than our previous model. So over the next 6 months plus, they kept "replacing" our mattresses until I told them we are done rearranging our lives and house for more deliveries. They have done nothing to compensate us except to threaten with sending more mattresses. Please do not spend the money you will be wasting it! This is not what craftsmanship looks like!

I would say for a Medium it feels a tad bit softer than I expected. I have slept on it using only the bottom sheet for just under a week- no extra toppers - in order to give my honest opinion. It doesn't sleep too hot. I think it would be perfect with an extra cotton topper. Also, I am typically a side sleeper and found this doesn't aggravate my shoulder.

I debated about giving this a 3 or a 4, so here are my thoughts. Keep in mind, we have only had this for a little over a week so far. Before choosing the mattress we would be willing to test I looked at the website for the firmness scale and the scale on the website said the firmness would be around 6-7 out of 10 for the medium. We have not found this to be accurate at this point. When we sit on the edge of the bed it sinks WAY down. Then when we lay in it, we sink way in. Its weird because if kinda feels a bit firm, but then we wake up in a hole. Definitely doesn't feel as firm as we expected and it is unfortunately a situation where we are waking up with sore backs. (I will add that we are not small people, but also not excessively overweight. I think it is a factor though). As for the cooling feature...we don't really see it. I don't know if that is because we have a mattress cover on it, or its just not working well for us. We will be trying it without the mattress cover soon. Not giving up yet. I can see this mattress being great for people who prefer a softer bed. I struggle to accurately say what I think because it does seem to have the support and stability I want in a mattress, but I also am waking up with a sore back and in a hole. I know, clear as mud. Overall, I think it s a good solid choice as long as its clear that it is softer than expected. One major thing that was bothersome to us was the off gassing. The "chemical" smell on this mattress for the first few days was so strong I actually ended up sleeping on the couch one night. I am sensitive to toxic fumes and it was causing me some trouble. That does seem to have dissipated after 4 days or so. So, after just one week, I wouldn't count this mattress out, but I don't think it will end up being right for us.

I was really surprised with the Stearns & Foster Reserve Soft Pillowtop. First, it's the thickest mattress I've ever slept on. Do buy deep fitted sheets to cover this. Second, it's not bouncy. My husband getting in bed next to me barely affected my side of the bed. Lastly, it's incredibly soft, but I am supported and slept comfortably. Because I never trust soft mattresses to h support me when I'm sleeping, I would not have picked this out in the store. This trial has changed my mind. This mattress is amazing. I would recommend it to everyone, even those who are used to sleeping on firm mattresses.

When I initially received this mattress I was impressed by how sturdy and well constructed it looked. I was so excited to sleep on it but that first night was a disaster. I could not get comfortable, I kept tossing and turning. I hated it. I was so worried because I had already gave my old mattress away. BUT after less than a week of panicking over what I was going to do my body adjusted to the mattress and oh my god it was heavenly. Please don't make any judgments until you've tried it out for a week. It will be the best sleep you've ever had. This mattress firmly cradles your body it's like nothing I've ever tried.

Im 5'8 140 skinny and on the boney side. There website is misleading. If you ask the sales or "experts as they call it lol. They say its the softest but i disagree. If your under 150 its a bit over kill with all these extra coils which still gives you a stiff and hard feeling. If your under 150 its going to be hard to break in i had to keep walking on mine 10- 20mins a day. To finally loosen it up. I still wake up with shoulder and arm pains do the stiffness and lack of conforming. . Also the buttons are annoying and feels like rocks /pebbles if your laying on one.. should put something over them. theyll tell you to use a pad or topper. Which didnt help and is ridiculous because you spend lots of money to avoid this. The luxe hybrid soft feels much more softer and better conforming. A Hybrid will always feel softer im not sure why they push this one as the softest. I say because most expensive and they get bigger commission off it as well as company profits more. Sad its all about money and not the customer anymore. If your heavier than 150 and like a firm soft , and can deal with the buttons. this may be the one for you. If your lightweight like me i try the soft hybrid. Also choose different stores . My stores the displays are not properly supported and they sag. No center support and you can see them bending. Shop around theres better price mattresses that will do the same. Do your research look on redit , quora, and other community personal opinions. People who actually own and want to help. All these reviews say the same thing. There paid for it and get the mattresses for free. Of course there going say good things.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I were gifted the Stearns & Foster Lux Hybrid Medium - Queen (LHH1) mattress for my review and I am so glade I said yes to this one chance to give my review. This bed has had a wonderful impact on my rest! As I do have hm some hip and back pain from and old accident on and my old mattress did not help with that any. My life just changed for the best! The best mattress I have ever slept on! 100% satisfied with this bed okay killed the pain better than the doctors do. With that also the downside is for is it stays pretty cool and not sure if it'll be too cool in the winter time because I turned to be cold a lot. For some of them it helps me sleep cuz I'm not sweating the way I did on my other mattress because this bed does breathe really good an stay cool throughout the night.

My husband and I are absolutely blown away by the quality of this product. We knew we needed a new mattress, but have been trying to hold out as long as we could (inflation ). After a month or so of consistently waking up in pain, with stiffness and aches that would last a good part of the morning, I had the last straw. We went to our local mattress store and we trialed several different beds. My husband and I agreed we wouldn't shop with price in mind, but instead we would shop for comfort. I laid on this mattress and felt like I fell into a cloud. It supported every curve on my body and suited me as a side/back sleeper and my husband as a side/belly sleeper. We still laid on other mattresses - unsure if we wanted traditional coils or if we wanted to get another all foam mattress. The hybrid is really the best of both worlds. We got it delivered and set up, napped for the afternoon and woke up for the first time in months without any shred of pain! My husband and I both have rheumatic arthritic conditions. The bed you sleep on is an investment. We have the soft, the medium was okay, the firm was too much for us. If you can, sample the mattress and you, too, will be sold on the superior quality of Stearns & Foster!!!
