I was so excited to try this vacuum because I have a Dyson and wanted to compare the two. I love ALL the different features with this vacuum, but the biggest downfall is the suction power. For instance, I needed to clean my filters and vents on my fridge as well as behind it, so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to clean them. Although the different attachments cleaned them decent, the suction power was definitely not as strong as my Dyson. My favorite part of the vacuum is the odor neutralizer, mostly because of my son and his allergies (fyi, it only uses this mode when it is vacuuming, not when using the separate attachments). There are multiple levels to use whether you are using it for hardwood or carpet. The hardwood mode works great, however, the section power is not as good as my current vacuum. I also love how lightweight it is, has a section on the back to hang it, easy to use, and the many functions. It is disappointing that it will not stand upright when not in use. Overall, I prefer my Dyson, but the kids enjoy using this downstairs because it is easier for them to maneuver.

I like that it has a cord, although it could be a bit longer! It is easy to assemble, empty out and use! It can go in bare floors or carpet which is nice and comes with 3 attachments other than the main vacuum.

The swivel head is so perfect for getting under places so I don't have to move anything for general cleaning needs. I love the lights in the front so that I don't have to turn on lights in bathrooms or closets just to vacuum. I especially like how the switch is on the top where I don't have to bend down to switch between carpets and bare floor. I also am happy about the main part becoming a separate hand held vacuum so I can clean my car easier with the attachments too. The head is smaller than my regular upright and makes it easier to vacuum behind toilets and small places. I chose the one with the electric cord as I can clean my whole apartment without concern about battery usage. Love this vacuum

I bought the Rocket Pro Dlx to replace the Rocket (Model HV 301) I had been using for over 8 years. I was so excited for my New Rocket stick vacuum. I loved the new design and larger capacity of the dust cup, the step release for the wand and the light on the vacuum head. The cord on the Pro Dlx is a couple of feet shorter than the Rocket I was replacing, but I could deal with that since this model was so much nicer. I've now had my new vacuum for 15 months and it is already falling apart. The front wheels on the head/nozzle are broken and one of them is stuck. While the vacuum itself is still fully functional, I'm extremely disappointed that the wheels have already broken, especially since my previous Shark Rocket had served me well for so many years. I cannot recommend this product and I will not be buying another.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vaccine cleaner is a very light weight vacuum cleaner as compared to some of the other similar style vacuums..since this is a corded vacuum cleaner, I don’t have to worry about the charge getting drained..we have a huge carpet area and this takes care of keeping it clean!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shark Rocket Pro DLX Corded Stick Vac Is going to be your go to vac for all your cleaning needs. Coming out of the box it was very easy to put together . The pieces just snap and lock in together in less than a minute. Because it is a stick vac it was very easy to move around than a heavy upright. I started first on my oriental rug in my living room. Once i got the suction level set it did a great job of picking up particles and even unseen deep dirt. It maneuvered around coffee tables easily because it has a swivel head. L.E.D. lights on the power brush base help light the way. There is even one on the top part for when you are doing stairs and other jobs without the base.I went from the carpet straight to the hardwood floor and then to the ceramic tile in the kitchen without having to stop. Just a quick change on the suction lever and it was a go. It made the transition to different flooring types easy and did a great job. I then tried the stairs. the head easily pops off with the push of a button . Then I tried the tools that were included on the stairs. It also did a great job there. Then I put the wand back on it and tried it on getting some of the dust up high in the corners of the ceiling.Disconnecting the top and the wand from the power roller is easy. All you have to do is step on a button on the base and it comes right out and when you're done it snaps right back in . Very easy , quick and convenient . It cleaned any dust bunnies up high easily. Emptying the dirt is easy, just a click of a button opens the contents and dumps into the trash. Storing it is great because the head comes off and locks into the base so it actually doesn't take up that much space or you can use the hook and hang it up. There were two minor things that I didn't care for. One was I thought it was a little loud and secondly since there is no place to store the tools they should at least include a small mesh bag or some type of container to store them all in so they don't get misplaced. In conclusion I found that this vacuum was very versatile , east to use , and did a great job on every task that I put it through and I highly recommend it to anyone.

I have 2 messy kids and 2 giant dogs that shed extremely bad, so finding a good vacuum is extremely important to keeping my home tidy. Shark is my go-to brand and I already have a vacuum I use from them. I was hoping to find a light weight vacuum that was easier to carry up and down the stairs, as well as travel back and forth to use at my cabin. This Shark Rocket stick vac meets many of the needs I was looking for. It is super light and easy to carry. The roller pivots and manuevers so smoothly easily around furniture, and it also works really well with getting under couches and tables. Another positive is that the noise level on this vacuum is much quieter. I also really like that the controls are right on the handle and the words regarding the power levels are reversed to face the person cleaning. As far as storage goes, this vacuum will not stand upright for storage, and either needs propped up on something or the handle will need removed and placed on the storage hook on the base. This is not a negative for me, because it makes it easier for me to store in a cabinet or closet. A con for me is that it is definitely not as powerful as my current vacuum and the canister is much smaller. I did a quick clean up around my living room only and the canister was already full and needed emptied before I could continue. The power and suction worked the best for me on area rugs and runners but was still quite effective on low pile carpeting. I already recommended this vacuum to my mother, who is getting up there in age, due to how light weight it is and easy to maneuver around. It's definitely worth giving a try and I would recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first Shark vacuum and I am very impressed by it. I did not know if I am going to like this but once I started using it, wow! It is great! I am an older man and at my age, I appreciate a light vacuum cleaner. This Shark Rocket Pro DLX Corded is perfect for my needs because it is not heavy, it gets all the dust and dirt off my floor and it has all sorts of attachments as well. I do like the convertible hand vacuum. If I ever need to clean my car, this is perfect. Another feature that I really like is the LED light. It helps me see where the mess are. For my aging eye, that is important and very helpful. This vacuum is also very easy to steer. It swivels so it is very easy to maneuver. The cup also holds a good amount of dirt. My son also loves this vacuum. It is new and different so he enjoys vacuuming his room with this. Overall, I am very happy with it. It performs very well and above my expectations.

This vacuum tops all of the Shark products, and I already thought the Shark was the best by far! Suction is the most powerful, I have ever used. Along with the Sharks trademark super-light weight, extra long cord and dual settings (hardwood and carpet). This one set the bar a whole lot higher with its low price point!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The power behind this vacuum is insane! My home has carpet as well as tile and I always dread floor day because I spend hours in one room. Not with this vacuum though! You can instantly see the difference on the carpet after going over a spot and I love how it swivels at the bottom getting under the table and chairs so much more easier. The major plus for me is that the attachments are easy to use and the vacuum is super lightweight! I absolutely love it the only way it would be better is if it was also cordless.
