Stunning video performance. Stood out for us from the others on display including other brands that were over $1600, so this model was a serious consideration at nearly $1270. Researched before purchase. Considered OLED, although considerably more expensive and prone to (what should be ancient-history) burn-in issues...Cause for serious pause. Somehow missed a few key reviews we read _after_ this purchase that rated this model way above its price class when it was over $1500. Price dropped $300 from $1269 to $969, making this a truly outstanding value.

Got this TV during the Black Friday sale and it was definitely the best deal. I have bought a few Sony TV's in the past and everyone of them have been very reliable. After hooking it up, make sure you google Sony 900h calibration. This will give you the best settings for your TV and maybe you'll learn a thing or two. Hope you enjoy this TV as much as I do.

while the tv has awesome features and the UI is great, mines, unfortunately, came with the dirty screen effect at the 4 corners and at the top left area. it's not noticeable when watching anything dark but as soon as you are watching bright white-colored video such as clouds you can see it. I am debating on returning it but I think I will end up doing it since its annoying, too back it is out of stock in my area.

I really do like the TV but there is an issue with the MotionFlow. I can turn it off but it turns right back on the next day. Contacted Sony support but we couldn't get it fixed. I don't feel the need to adjust my settings everyday, so I will be returning the TV.

This TV has a beautiful picture. The software/firmware was a disaster. My experience does not seem to match that of others, so this may just be a defective unit. The unit has locked up on an info screen from one of the streaming apps and it will not reset. I have done at least two factory resets plus a "power reset" where you unplug it. Nothing worked. Sony support was useless. I am going to take it back and see if I can get a replacement unit. If it is better, I will either add another review or will update this one.
