Was actually surprised by the bass and sound quality. For a unit without a subwoofer it does extremely well for our living room.

I finally can hear movies that the sound no matter how high i put the tv sound I couldn't hear what they were saying! This is clear sound and i love it. It was very easy to hook up to my tv!

Improved sound over the tv's and better than previous less expensive soundbar. At 4 stars as I'd like to have old school controls for treble and bass. Both the Bose and other soundbar mentioned provide a button to enhance the voice and a button to add bass.

This sound bar is supposed to enhance speech from the background noise. We found hardly any difference in the sound with and without the soundbar. The instructions are very skimpy as Bose expects you to download the owner's manual for any additional information. Only one connecting cable (optical) is provided, which we could not use because our 5 year old Sony (flat panel) did not have an optical port. Had to go out and buy a coaxial cable. Also, the sound bar does not have an HDMI port. Not worth the money.

This is my second Bose sound bar. I have one in my RV and the newest one in my bedroom hooked up to my 32” television. It's a simple set up without a bunch of adjustments and really brings out the voices on a television speaker system. You can listen at lower volume and clearly hear dialogue without keeping the whole house up. It is Bluetooth capable and you can hook your phone or tablet into it as well. It's a great RV sound system as it's small yet powerful and installs easily and is all you need in a small space.

I am very happy with my Bose Solo Soundbar Series II. It was super easy to set up for this senior female! I especially like that you can select a setting to make dialogue more clear, especially when the background music from the program overwhelms the talking.

Bose Solo Soundbar improves tv sound. I wanted a system with rear base and speakers but my wife would not go for it thinking it would be too loud for our home. I bought this as a compromise. Bose is known for it's reputation of putting out great sound. This soundbar has a small footprint and sits nicely in front of our tv. When my wife wasn't home I cranked it up for the Mandalorian and a Marvel movie and I have to say the sound was really pretty good for the size of this little soundbar. I did not get any distortion at a high volume and the sound filled the room. This soundbar does one major thing that the tv sound did not do and that is you can hear people's voices so much better. It plays beautifully when Spotify is selected on the tv. This may not have as much bass as some systems which I tried in the store. I am enjoying having purchased this even though I wanted more.

I've been wanting this Soundbar for awhile. It exceeded my expectations! My husband has a slight hearing loss and is always asking me to turn up the volume. This not only sounds wonderful but has added clarity to the sound of our Samsung TV. We no longer go up and down with the volume. It's bluetooth compatible and easily syncs with our phones when we want to play music. Dont let the size fool you you. It will make you think you're in a Theater. Movie nights are our favorite! The Setup was so quick and easy. Extremely happy with this purchase!

I generally love Bose, but found this soundbar to be less than what I anticipated. There is no indicator for volume level so you have no idea where the sound is as far as volume. Additionally, I haven't been impressed with the sound quality. Bose usually delivers exceptional results. Not on this one.
