I love the additional options you can use to set temperatures for the various draws. Two ice maker containers is huge. Never run out of ice now. LG Thin IQ app is great. Love that I can set up different colors in within the app for Instaview. I like that is has an air filter as well as a water filter.. Definitely would recommend this to my friends.

I recently upgraded to the LG MyColor Refrigerator from an old side-by-side model, and I have to say, it's been a game changer. I can’t believe how much more we can fit in there, and without having to play Tetris! The freezer drawer is an absolute dream, making it so much easier to organize and access frozen items. No more struggling to find what I need—everything is right there at my fingertips. One of my favorite features is the Flex Drawer. Currently, I'm using it for frozen breads, and it’s incredibly convenient. The flexibility to adjust the temperature depending on what I need is a big plus - we will be filling it with pies for thanksgiving and fresh meat for grilling in spring The extra ice in the freezer is another great touch, the kids like the door ice for water bottles, but my husband and I like taking it from the bin for our drinks. Plus, the filtered water from the door actually works! We've stopped using bottled water almost entirely and now enjoy the convenience of getting fresh, clean water straight from the fridge - our old fridge’s water was awful no matter how often I changed the filter The MyColor Lighting is fantastic—it acts like a night light in evening and provides a fun way to start the morning. We can't wait to host a Halloween or Christmas party and pair it with some under-cabinet LEDs for an extra festive touch! The Door-in-Door feature is a surprise hit in our household. We’ve started keeping milk and condiments in the door, and I’m amazed at how often we use it—almost one-third of the time, just in the first couple of weeks! The ThinQ app even shows how often and which doors are opened, and it's fascinating to see how much we rely on this convenient feature. One more thing: We’ve tried everything to keep fruits fresh: different stores, washing with vinegar, nothing worked to keep fruits fresh for longer than 2 days.Now, and in just two weeks of use, I’m already noticing a huge difference in how fresh my fruits stay—like magic! It is clear that LG keeps food fresher for longer. I’m more than satisfied with how well this fridge meets my needs. I’m already showing it off to my neighbors, and they’re all impressed! Overall, this refrigerator has not only improved my kitchen’s functionality but also enhanced our day-to-day life. Highly recommended!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator is simply beautiful. The thin IQ app allows you to name your fridge and control the temperature and ice making. It also allows you to pick time slots of what color your want your instadoor to view as. You can leave it without a color or choose a color and always have the option to knock twice for white light to View the easier access items inside . This feature allows you to use less energy with doors open before you decide on what to get out. This front door has a clip just in front of the pocket handle at the bottom of it for the easy access entry. The sleek design has pocket handles . I will say since the ice maker is on the left door, doors are a bit heavier and a handle would likely better serve as an opener for this reason. The ice maker and water dispenser on the left side is at a good height to walk up and get a drink. It also makes more ice faster than my old Samsung. The huge drawer of ice in the freezer would Come in handy for a party and would Be great to throw in a cooler for a day on the go! You can also turn this feature off on the fridge or on the app. The inside of the fridge is DEEP! You can fit TONS in it. It’s so spacious. The crisper drawers hold so much fresh food! It stays nice and cool and the app also allows you to track if temp selected is maintained. It will also alert you when new filters needed. You can Choose energy saving mode for lighting to Be less in your fridge whatever time You want that to be at on the app. The fridge is QuIEt! The Samsung I had was loud. This fridge you can’t hear the ice making or that it’s even running. My toddlers like the knock feature to see inside as well. I have yet to find a fingerprint from them which was a huge reason I wanted this. The app even alerted me the door was open for a long time while at work. The drawer in the middle can be used for freezing or for cooling and the fact that the control is inside the fridge also is better than my last fridge since the children kept Hitting the controls every time they opened the last one since controls were on the drawer itself. Drinks are best placed in the instadoor unless you want to lie them Down in the drawer due to the flooring of it is zigzagged. The freezer has adequate space as well. It keeps Cold And you can Adjust temp with app. LG color is sleek, holds a lot, saves energy, and easily controlled.

It’s very large inside and we can fit so many large containers of milk for the whole family which equals less trips to the store. Everything stays nice and cold. We can monitor the temperature and settings with the thin iq app. The doors hold less on the left side than my old fridge but the right side door and just massive interior make up for this. The doors also quietly close on their own which is a super nice feature. I sometimes worry the front display door with the inside fragile clip for the seal may break easily since this one requires self push to close and you need to be careful for this reason. The drawers are very light weight. There’s extra ice in the freezer for on the go. The ice maker works very well and makes a lot of ice. My children like to roll Open the freezer to grab ice pops out and icecream. There are much less finger prints than my old refrigerator. My daughter loves the purple door color. You can select the color and for how long (up to 8 hours a day I believe), on how long each color displays. It’s a nice kitchen night light and will get use during day light savings time when darkness sets in. We are loving this lg fridge. Best feature is the space!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to get this refrigerator but I am underwhelmed. It's not bad - it's got some great capabilities but there is a lot that could be improved. Pros include: - great size - shelves do not have goofy splits or sliding parts - they better enable fitting wide items - ice maker in freezer where it belongs - app to track and manage key capabilities - the french doors close by themselves slowly - which is a nice feature, but only if they are in motion to be closed Cons include: - quality of drawers, interior is lacking. Cheap plastic - drawers don't roll well - the vegetable and fruit drawers are enormous and take up too much room so that there is no way to have any item on a shelf that is taller than 7 inches. - The only place tall items can go is on the right door - on the bottom shelf - which is not a lot of room since most people will have a gallon of milk on the bottom shelf. This is a huge issue in my mind because it means lots of things must go on their side on a shelf in the center - the see thru door is ok but i dont see the value - the bigger value is that you can open up the front seethru panel without opening the door and easily access items on the door. - There are two icemakers, thankfully, because having one in the door means two things - First, the shelves on the left door are virtually useless. here, they are also poor quality and super tiny. Second, the icemaker will stop working becuase it's too difficult to manage the cold temperatures required inside a refrigerator - but vendors just do what consumers demand - The shelves have very minimal adjustment capabilities -- there is one empty slot where a shelf could be raised or lowered. It's really not helpful because lowering top shelf lowered for lager items means the middle shelf will be aobut 3-4" of space. Past referigerators always hadhad mutliple shelf heights with slots that were 1/2-1 inch apart. This fridge has plastic shelf guards built in that shelves rest on. The veg and fruit bins are so high that they eat into shelf space that would be useful - and the quality of the bins is really subpar The reason I gave it a Yes to recommend is that it has large capacity, and has nice options like the app and its ability to adjust temp etc, the see thru door if you like it. Compared with other refrigerators, this has used cheap, thin plastic where there used to be metal and I dont see it lasting. Hope I am wrong. It's very average and typical for today's market.

We bought this two weeks ago and we absolutely love it. It looks very sleek and matches our kitchen wo well. We love the different color options and change them depending on mood. The interior is perfect with just the right amount of space for all different heights of items. I especially love the drawer and I am currently using it for cheese and lunchmeat but plan to use it for a freezer when my adult kids move out.

This refrigerator was a tremendous upgrade from my previous fridge in both functionality and appearance. It's got a great deal of space accompanied by adjustable shelves to help fit larger items. The door in door feature that allows you to open the smaller glass door to grab items is great. That and the slam resistant doors makes opening and closing the fridge quiet and accident free. The best part may be the middle or utility drawer, which you can easily change from refrigerator to freezer and creates extra space for whatever you need. On top of all that it has some really cool specs that brighten up your kitchen. You can update the color light of the fridge which is pretty neat. As well as adjust the brightness in the evening which is great. All of this can be managed very seamlessly through the LG app on your phone! I would highly recommend this product to others. Great upgrade to your current kitchen appliances!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a solid refrigerator with a few interesting features including a customizable drawer that you can use for extra freezer space, refrigerator space, or for wine. We opted to use it for wine storage. The door with window comes in handy when you want to see inside without opening. Just turn on the light by knocking. The customizable color for the door light is an interesting feature but unnecessary for me. There's a ton of space in both the refrigerator and freezer. We ended up taking a shelf out because it wasn't needed and would give us extra space for taller items. I love the option of having ice to scoop from the tray in the freezer or just getting it from the door. I wish there was an option to make whiskey ball ice in the freezer but this would probably make this refrigerator even more expensive. The app isn't as useful as I was hoping. It seems to only be useful for statistics and to set a color and timer for the door light. Hopefully more features will come in future updates. Overall this is a solid fridge and we've have no problems so far and no big complaints. The price is reasonable for the features it offers and a major upgrade from our previous refrigerator. Would definitely recommend looking at this as an option for your next refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This LG fridge is exactly what our family needs. We love the drawer space and it is perfect for snacks and easy to grab things for our kids. The dual ice makers ensure we always have plenty of ice and functions well. The bottom freezer is very spacious and provides more than enough room for plenty of vegetables and quick dinners. Only thing I wish was different is the selector for the water/ice in the door. Our previous one we had you would select ice, water, crushed ice by pushing the icon for what you want, this one you have to cycle through. Not a game breaker, but still something we are getting used to. Would definitely recommend this refrigerafor and very happy with our purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG Smart Instaview fridge is a real upgrade from my previous not so smart fridge. The ThinQ app was very easy to setup and it connected to my fridge almost instantly. It is very easy to adjust the fridge and drawer temperatures to your liking in a matter of seconds. The section where you can see the energy usage is very helpful too. The instaview door in door is my favorite part. I love having the extra space for grab and go drinks and the color selection and timer setting are a bonus! The soft closing doors caught me off guard at first. It’s so smooth and quiet. Having a house full of kids this feature is really helpful in ensuring the doors always get closed. The water dispenser is really nice and the water flows quite quickly. I do wish that each selection was a button instead of it just being in the middle. I find my self pressing on each one everytime and realizing only the middle one works to select. I love how spacious and customizable everything is, it is the centerpiece in our kitchen. I look forward to adding more LG Smart appliances to our home in the future.
