Looks great in person!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got my refrigerator and I love the appearance. It's different and also seems quite spacious. I was able to download the ThinQ app and set up my refrigerator with it. I'm able to change the color of the door in door through the app and there are some other features that makes the fridge interesting. You can set up the time for when the different color lights come on and off through the app. You can convert the middle draw to either being just cold or to a freezer through the app or on the inside of the fridge. You can knock on the door in door so the light will shine if you want to see what's sitting on the shelves in the front without opening the fridge. I like the soft closing doors since it doesn't make much noise when you shut it. The water dispenser works great! It's works fast, compared to my last refrigerator. There are three ways to get ice. There are cubed ice and crushed ice that comes from the water dispenser and one in the freezer section where it drops down into an area that carries ice for gatherings or just for yourself. I will admit that on area where you can open the door in door, it can get dirty fast so its best to make sure you clean that door often if you use it the most.

Great refrigerator so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, I am really happy with this new refrigerator. It is customizable with the door color and interchangeable drawer, which is handy! One small complaint I have is that the width of the door shelves is so thin, not a lot fits. And I wish the shelves were slightly taller (more space in between) because regular things, like a gallon of milk, won't fit standing upright. The depth of the shelves are great though. The water dispenser is easy to use and works well and i like the extra ice in the freezer as well. The two drawers in the freezer is a nice feature for keeping things more organized. Overall, I would recommend this fridge. The app is also really handy for switching settings in the appliance too!

Wonderful fridge!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This LG fridge is exactly what our family needs. We love the drawer space and it is perfect for snacks and easy to grab things for our kids. The dual ice makers ensure we always have plenty of ice and functions well. The bottom freezer is very spacious and provides more than enough room for plenty of vegetables and quick dinners. Only thing I wish was different is the selector for the water/ice in the door. Our previous one we had you would select ice, water, crushed ice by pushing the icon for what you want, this one you have to cycle through. Not a game breaker, but still something we are getting used to. Would definitely recommend this refrigerafor and very happy with our purchase.

The jury is still out, so far ok. We are noticing the glass door doesnt close as tight automatically often causing the alarm sound. Might be an installation issue. Finding the deli compartment as a separate unit very handy. I wish overall the build was taller rather than deeper. And the in-door ice-water dispenser is somewhat counterintuitive: select option is only on water while the light travels to show the current selection. Not sure why would select push option wouldn’t follow. Minor, but quite inconvenient when you have people over or a kid with learning disabilities. And another minor suggestion, the deli compartment could benefit from an extra divider. I ordered it separately; happy it’s possible. I do appreciate a more compact in-door unit. Overall happy so far.

Modern and Sleek

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge is sleek, modern and looks great in our kitchen. It's packed full of fun features such as an all inclusive smart app, a quick access door, and 2 ice cube makers! While we do enjoy our fridge and appreciate the features, I feel this could be a bit better for the price. The inside is a little cheap feeling especially the middle drawer. Smart App: The app allows you to control the basics from a click of a button. While it's nice to be able to adjust the temperature of the fridge from your couch, I'm not sure how useful it really is. The analytics are fun and interesting such as power consumption, water filter life expectancy, and notifications when the door is left open. It's a neat feature but I wished it contained something like a camera so I can see what I have in my fridge at any given time. The only true feature of the app is being notified when the door was left open. I also don't have kids so that's a rarity but it'll chime before I get too far anyways. Ice / water: I love the ice machines on this! The ice is the perfect shape and having 2 makes a real difference. The water comes out a little slow but otherwise is great. Switching from water to ice sometimes takes several presses and not the most intuitive. The app does not notify you how long the ice has been sitting and suggests you to dump after 7 days. Seems a little short but interesting feature. Overall space management: Having a French door is night and day different from a 2 door that we upgraded from. We had a French door at our previous place which was similar to this one. We love how deep it goes but it does stick out a decent bit from the cabinets. Not sure the back of the fridge is super usable anyways but nice to have the space. I was super excited for the window quick access door but in reality, it's not as useful The shelves are the only convenient place to put condiments which takes up most of the real-estate on the right hand door. The left hand door has narrow shelves which is good for smaller items like butter and nutritional bars. Items that are great grab and go items or heavily used. I wish I could make better use out of the quick access door but organizationally, it doesn't make practical sense to keep certain item there. Overall, I would recommend this fridge. It's a great smart fridge packed with features.

Water tastes terrible

Fridge is a decent size with some good features. We can’t seem to get the water to taste like water, not garden hose water. We can’t get cold water either. This fridge is only 2 weeks old I was hoping for better luck with spending this kind of money on an appliance.

Inconsistent temperatures

This refrigerator has wildly inconsistent temperatures. We have had 2 gallons of milk spoil even though the fridge is set at 37 and the app says it is cooling well. Installed several thermometers and they were reading 40-42 in the fridge. Had to set the refrigerator temp down to 34 to have the main area hold 36 while the door is still reading 40. A repairman came out and told us the temp was within acceptable specs so he could do nothing with the refrigerator. The best he could do was enter the refrigerator into a program where LG is monitoring the refrigerator. It’s getting expensive throwing milk away. Will no longer be storing milk in the door, even though it was designed to access milk without opening the entire refrigerator. Too expensive of a refrigerator to not work properly. Disappointed!

Don’t buy!

This was the worst refrigerator I ever bought. The compressor won’t last long and repair shops refuse to work on them because they are so terrible
