Great Generator

I bought this generator a little over a month ago and just finished the break-in period, which was around eight hours of runtime, and had zero issues during that time, in fact, I even noticed an improvement in engine performance during this time (there were no issues on the first start up, the improved engine performance was coming from the initial break-in). I can also give two thumbs up for Genmax‘ customer service as I unfortunately broke a piece, (which was completely my fault and not any fault of the generator build or manufacturer) and needed to contact Genmax‘ customer service to get a new part, not only did I get someone on the phone right away, I also had the part in my hand within seven days, so big props to Genmax for being on top of their customer service game.I would definitely recommend this generator as I believe it will always be there when you need it.

GenMax 7500 AIED has great features

GenMax Technical and Sales team were very helpful in providing guidance to help me size my generator to fit my needs at home. They were also helpful during my installation, answering my questions and that of my electrician, as well as helping with aftermarket parts like the parallel cables. I definitely recommend GenMax!

Genmax 7500 review

Ordering the Genmax 7500 was quick and easy. It was delivered right to our garage on time. Unboxing and set up were straight forward and quick. Generator started right up with push button starter and provides ample power during an outage with a dual fuel function. This generator offers top of the line performance and features at an unbeatable price.

Unbeatable price without sacrificing performance

Awesome unit - slick design and pretty durable. so far ive used it on propane and it started up quikcly. I have not tried it on gasoline yet but i dont intend on ever really using it. I went with this model over th 11000 becuase this is almost 100lbs lighter and i need something easy to move around on occasion. Teh remote start is very cool. As long as you keep the ignition on i can fire it up through the window of my shed without having to go outside and crank it. The price is honestly unbeatbale... havent seen anything remotely close to being competitive whiile offering the same level of specs and quality genmax delivers with this product. Think this is a great buy for anyone not trying to break the bank while also not sacrificing any performance

Great unit for travel trailers or Rv's

I purchased this generator Aug 13. It was delivered in a couple of days. We have a 32' travel trailer. We used this generator in cold temperatures in the mountains outside of Beaver Utah (9400 feet elevation) and again in the mountains outside of Las Vegas where we had to run the A/C. We used our microwave and had no problems with this unit. Easy start and not very loud. We had it on low idle through out the night. We love this unit and would purchase again!

Works well

Worked well running a couple fridges and sump pump for a few days. We had to also connect a box fan and play with diferent cords so the power surge wouldnt pop the breaker over and over. LCD screen stopped working after a few days. Kind of a pain [very fine screws] to remove side panels and access battery.

Great after losing Power!!

I used this when I lost power due to Hurricane Helene. I hooked up 2 of my standard size refrigerators and 2 of my neighbor's standard size refrigerators, also a floor fan on high and my neighbor was charging their phone all at the same time and it work great! I use the propane gas and ran for a little over 7 hours total and still had a lot left in my tank. I can't tell how much it really used because I don't have a gauge on it. I noticed it still had quite a bit left. I was thinking the whole time that this generator is worth every penny. Next time I going to make sure I have more propane tanks filled, I wasn't for sure how much it would use since I only had one full tank, so I ran the generator for a few hours and turned it off for a few hours.

Two is better than one

I purchased two because of portabilty and not always needing a lot of power so i dicided if i ever need more power i eoukf just link thrm together. As far as using thrm ive only done a break in by running all 120 v items through my 50 amp inlet including the above the range microwave. Worked perfect.

50 amps under a grand!

The first one I received would not start with either gas or propane. The return and replacement procedure was easy and I had the new unit in a week. We use this for our 5th wheel. We are able to run both AC's, the fridge and the water heater along with other miscellaneous items. Finally an inverter with a 50 amp outlet that doesn't break the bank.

Great value for the money...and expandable

I did a lot of researching before purchasing this unit and its capabilities. You get a 240v plug that you can tie into a 50 amp power inlet box on your house, for example, but, as it sits, this generator is not going to produce 50 amps which is dictated by Ohm's Law. For instance, I'll be using mine on propane, which is 5,500 running watts, tied into my house that I won't be running 240V appliances on as they draw too much wattage (like the electric water heater, 5 ton HVAC, 2 ton HVAC, etc). Our power doesn't go out long enough, typically. But, if I decide I want to do that, I will buy a 2nd one and use their GM9000PK parallel kit and, with 2 generators, I will have 11,000 running watts to work with. I have a gas insert fireplace for heat in winter and two GE "U mount" window AC units to cool the rooms needed. Oh, and 5500 watts equates to about 23 amps of current and 11,000 watts would be...you guessed it...about 46 amps. On gas, it would be 12,000 and 50 amps. Compare this to their GM7250iED model that a competitor site sells for $1,659 before $300 coupon. Compare the specs...it's the same thing.
