30 and 50 amp plugs! AWESOME!

I haven't started this generator up yet, but the fact that it has a 50 and 30 amp plugs are the features that i like best. I bought this for my RV and couldn't be happier. The fact that it's dual fuel with electric start is an added function that i like as well.

great dual purpose generator

As of writing I have 50 hours on the unit. I purchased this for dual use. 1) camper power-easily powers 30amp camper-will run for 13-14 hours on single tank of gas with single 13k btu AC unit 2) home backup, will run 240v 30amp well pump and the rest of home (minus 4 ton ac unit). Overall this thing is tough to beat for the price. It has run well, it's reasonably quiet, remove start it nice, and at 100lbs with wheels and telescoping handle is relatively maneuverable. I have yet to try the propane functionality but it did include the regulator and I have no reason to expect it wouldn't work as intended.

Great genny

Super quiet, runs my 50amp airstream with ease. Went an entire 4 day trip and hardly used any Gass with intermittent use.

so far, so good.

I bought one and received it 2 weeks ago. So far, so good. Easy set up. Quick start up. Idles well in both modes and relatively quiet. I modulated power up to about 15 amps and the meters seemed accurate. I plan on running an extended test with everything in the rv on and check the performance and fuel economy. the only drawback I've found so far is the remote. the main switch needs to be on for the remote start. possibly running down the battery if it's weak. I'll post my results.

Two is better than one

I purchased two because of portabilty and not always needing a lot of power so i dicided if i ever need more power i eoukf just link thrm together. As far as using thrm ive only done a break in by running all 120 v items through my 50 amp inlet including the above the range microwave. Worked perfect.

Excellent Value

We chatted with GenMax support via email before buying. They were very helpful to explain the difference between this Sam's exclusive model compared to the 7250 sold everywhere else for quite a bit more $. The price of this 7.5kw dual fuel inverter generator with the outlets and features it has just can't be beat, and I looked around, believe me. I bought two of them with plans as whole home backup so I also bought the parallel cable elsewhere. If you wish to do 50a instead of 30a, then you will need to parallel them. In the meantime, I bring one and a propane tank with us and our travel trailer when boondocking, and it is RV-ready for us having the TTR30 plug. I did have a challenge for first startup with both. They would not startup on propane for first ever light up. Batteries went dead trying and I got tired of pulling the cord so many times after that so I then switched to gasoline source, put a little gasoline in the tank, after which each fired up with a single pull of the cord and then I was able to transition to propane for no problem stops and starts after that. The remote control is useful so we can control it while laying in bed. The noise is not bad either and we were fine even with it beside our trailer next to where our bed is located. It is a bit heavy for 1 person lift. I'm ok to put it up into and take it down from the pickup bed but for many, plan a 2 person lift.

Description is a little misleading

The description was a little misleading in that when it said it puts out up to 240 volts 50 amps and i said deal. When i got the generator and started to read the instructions i realised that in order to get the 50 amps you would need 2 generators with the parallel kit and ain't no way i'm buying 2 generators and i kind of kick myself in the butt for not doing the wattage to amp math, which i should have done, cause i would have gone with one that had a higher power output. With that being said it is a quiet, multifuel, easy to operate and maintain generator with an actual 240 volt plug capable that you can hook a dryer to. God bless
