I just completed building our new home here in Louisiana where power outages are very common due to extreme weather conditions. Local ordinances required us to have a sewage grinder and pump. Without a backup generator, we would have been out of luck in an extended power outage. Our new Generac 22KW generator meets our total house needs with power to spare. It looks good, is very quiet when running, and is very efficient on Propane gas. After pricing other generators, I know I made the right decision in purchasing my Generac 22KW.

We just upgraded to this 22KW with 200Amp transfer switch. The product is top notch and worth every penny. In fact, power was out last week and the Generac preformed as promised and kept us warm and powered up. Our local dealer is excellent as well and we're really happy with the installation and value. I wonder why we waited so long to install this...

Have piece of mind when winter storm warnings are predicted; don't want another experience like ice storm of 2009 where we were without power for weeks. Installer did a professional job at installation. Took extra time to install elevated surface so snow drifts won't restrict exhaust during run time. Looks great and runs on time, every time.

Installation was excellent, but disappointed with Generac's pre-delivery checks since critical small component was faulty and required several visits by our electrician and tests at our end until final diagnosis resolved. Generac will deliver and install this component within two weeks which is a good turn around, but we feel vulnerable to power outages until resolved. In addition there is some confusion over Generac warm up times - we are hoping for less than one minute in summer, but our installer figures up to four minutes.

I have now owned my Generac 22KW generator for a little over a year now and knock on wood, I've had it kick on only a few times. When it was called on it worked flawlessly and was such a comfort to know that I wasn't required to do anything on my part. Here in Alabama it's not uncommon for serious storms to happen almost any month of the year. Not having to drag out a generator, extension cords and gasoline is not something I'll ever miss. Great product.

We had a major ice storm in October 2020 in Oklahoma and we were without power for 7 days. Living in the country that seem like a lifetime. We are a total electric home and that includes the well pump. No electricity means no well pump and that means no water ! We decided to invest in a Generac and we are so happy we did - it is worth all the money we paid to have peace of mind. Over the 4th of July 2022 we had a power outage for 2 1/2 house. It was 99 degrees outside but with OK humidity, it felt like 105. Your house can heat up pretty fast but as soon as the power went off, the generator started up and we back up and running with electricity. I highly recommend investing in a Generac !!!

The threat of forest fires in rural California has increased dramatically to the point that the local electric utility now has a policy of interrupting power during windy/weather conditions. The outages could last hours to days. A standby generator eliminates the need to move the family/pets to a hotel or friends as well as preserving refrigerated food and other perishables. We chose Generac based on online reviews, record of reliability, features, and appearance. We were not disappointed. The dealer did an awesome job with the installation and training us in the operation of the unit. Would definitely recommend.

Bought the generator set for reliable power during utility loss. We live in a coastal area with tropical storms and hurricanes. This generator will ensure we have power after storms. Just had it installed and hopefully will not need it too often. Great product for the money.

At maximum load, the unit is very noisy. In side the house -- not problem. Outside -- big problem. We are sure I will get complaints. A fence company will be contacted with sound controlling elements to direct the noise upward to the sky, if possible. Otherwise the unit works correctly. The voltage is not at 120 VAC, but does get to 117VAC. I am not sure if that will be a problem. We can not run our electric wall oven or cloths dryer. The 5 ton AC will run with no problem, all light (all plugs), on-demand hot water heater and the two refrigerators work well. We have not tested our furnace yet. Transfer switch works quickly and power is back on in about a minute. I suggest dedicated, non-GFI for freezers and refrigerator -- when they trip, the Generac can not provide power to GFIs.

Everything from first contact to final installation was top notch. When I called for an estimate they were out within a week and one week later the unit was installed. I highly recommend Generac and mLine Electric is professional, courteous, prompt, attentive, and excellent. Thank you.
