Purchased the new 22kw unit, running on natural gas and transfer switch package. Excellent dealer support. The installation tech was extremely knowledgeable and knew all aspects of the electrical and mechanical components of the installation. I wish that the exercise run timer could be adjustable for say, 10 or 15 minutes in lieu of the existing 5 minutes. Easy unit to perform service and maintenance....wide open panels. Evolution controller's annunciator is s great feature should any problems develop. I purchased the wireless monitor system in lieu of the WiFi package. The new housing is now aluminum which should many years of long life. I also purchased the Generac mounting pad to complete a great looking installation. I haven’t had to use it yet, but I am sure that when the power does go out, I will be set to go. The team was wonderful from the first contact on the phone to the installers. Everyone is knowledgeable and patient and very helpful. All of my questions were answered and any hesitation I had has disappeared. I had a couple of questions after installation and the woman on the phone answered them all. Adams electric in WI did the installation and gets 5 stars.

I've wanted to install a generator for several years now but pulled the trigger when they offered a 10 year extended warranty option for free. The install process went well but took about 11 hours to do. The finished product looked good. I wish there was an option of some colors because the buscuit color sticks out against a darker color house. The dealer, Lee Legler, did a great job and answered all my questions. The first test run went well. I also like the app you have that lets the homeowner monitor the generator's status.

The whole process was almost flawless. Installed two weeks ago. The installation crew was professional. Arrived on time. Crew was tow experienced installer and one trainee. Some issues with paperwork back in the office. 100% satisfied when the crew left at the end of the day.

Been without power in past and had to get portable generators out, run drop cords and decide what to run. Now when the power is out, I just sit back and wait a minute the Generac starts. up and all is back to normal. Already experienced a power outage since I've had it installed. It was nice sitting back and life was restored to normal without leaving my chair. Knowing everything is going to be alright is a great peace of mind. Highly recommend especially if you have medical equipment that needs power like me. Go the extra step and raise it up off the ground like you see in pictures, will make it easier to service and keep water out during most storms. My set up powers the house and shop also with one unit.

I have a 22,000-Watt (LP)/19,500-Watt (NG) Air Cooled Standby Generator with Whole House 200 Amp Automatic Transfer Switch. Bought for new retirement home here in East Texas in Sept 2018. It has been the best investment I could have made as this area has frequent power outages. It tests itself every week or so and on the several occasions that we lost power, it ran as desired and provided all of the electric power we needed, including my dry heat sauna and hot tub lol. My house has propane for stove and tankless water heater. The unit had to be modified for propane versus LP. Other than that, no issues and would highly recommend. Just make sure you but a unit to cover your expected load nees....best of luck.

We Really like the unit and the security of having 24/7 protection against power failure. What sold us on this unit was the WiFi connection. Instead of just passively waiting to see what happens next. Our WiFi connection allows us to monitor performance at anytime

I proactively replaced a 15 yo Generac with a new one 2 1/2 years ago. The new 10kW model installed easily and has exercised weekly and been serviced annually without fail. We are in the middle of a pretty rough ice storm in Portland. 3 days into service the device quit. Repair folks say the main engine seal is shot and can't be immediately repaired. They went on to comment that the newer units just aren't the same quality. Pretty disappointing to have it fail in the time of need. As a much less important aside, the device also repeatedly drops internet connection.

Did a lot of research and decided on Generac. I am chairman of the board of our local power provider. I had our our staff spec out my size needs, based on my peak usage for the past 6 months. I bought a unit much larger than recommended. When final hook up was done(very expensive) we could not even test the unit because a starter battery was not included. Then the state electrical inspector and my local professional electrician informed me that the breaker in the unit was abou 1/2 of what was needed to power this unit. I still do not have it on line. Very disappointed at this time.

This generator is perfect for us. Will power all of the major loads in our home. Most importantly, Bear Rock Electric did a fantastic job coordinating all of the external requirements (Permits, Inspections, and Propane contractor) so that the install was done in a day. We are very pleased with the system.
