Our Generac was installed in November, 2022. So far we haven't needed it yet but it's great to know that in the event we lose power it's there to take over. Our installer was great, did an excellent job and provided all the information we need to keep it ready when needed. I have the Mobile Link app on my phone and PC to check that it is ready and exercising as scheduled, so far it's been right on time. We couldn't be more pleased.

Power failures can come at some of the most inconvenient times. I remember frying chicken in an electric frying pan when the power went of. The chicken was only half cooked. Was able to go to a neighbor and use his portable welder to finish cooking the chicken. With my Generac Guardian 22 kw generator I don't have those worries anymore. The unit is quiet and efficient. On top of that you can't find another system as good as the Generac for the dollars you are spending. One more thing, with Mobile Link you will always know what's happening power wise at home by messages on your smart phone. Glad I chose Generac.

We have not had a power outage since the generator was installed but we are no longer worried about the sump pumps not working and allowing the basement to flood.. (again). I am happy with the installation prossess and the people involved in it. Also happy with the appearance of the unit. All in all very pleased with this purchase.

Our local dealer, Long’s Air Conditioning of Avon Park, Florida, is well known for superior service, excellence in customer service and expert installation. After 10 days without power following Hurricane Irma, we made the decision to finance a Generac installation and got on their install list. We were willing to wait for the quality of their work and the superior product offered by Generac. The owner, Kenny Long, and his team arrived just after 7:00 a.m. and by noon our system was installed and every piece of sod replaced, every bit of dirt cleaned off and we were up and running. The peace of mind is well worth the expense as the head of our household is a First Responder with Emergency Mgmt. and will be on duty during major storms. We will be ready next Hurricane season!!

We decided to have the unit installed for the peace of mind that with the weather getting worse we will not be without power. Looked at many units and the Generac 22K was the best we found for all the quality to construction and the ability to have our whole house powered if we have a power outage in our area. With more and more hurricanes and winter weather more extreme it give us the power that will keep our home running. The install by Charleston Electric went great. They set up all the timing for the unit to be installed, the gas to be hooked up and then the next day came out to get the unit set up and running. Look forward to many years of service keeping our family safe.

This generator and transfer switch are great. I purchased and installed myself. The guidance in the manuals is great. Granted, you do need to know how to do electrical work and gas piping correctly and safely. I called for assistance getting it connected to wifi and the representative was very helpful and polite. The system then started up and functions perfectly. Very satisfied.

I was very excited to finally get my new Generac installed. We live on the gulf coast and flooded in Harvey. We've had power surges and other electrical issues and anytime in a Texas summer without A/C wasn't feasible. We've got a really nice Wi-Fi 6 Mesh system installed in the house with plenty of range all around our property. There is no place in the house or yard where we get a poor Wi-Fi signal. The Generac 26kW uses only the 2.4GHz band, which isn't a problem, because I can create a dedicated SSID that is 2.4 GHz only, which I did. The problem is the range. Our mesh routers do not send out that dedicated SSID, only the main main router connected to the modem. Even though the generator would recognize the SSID, the signal wasn't reliable enough to maintain a connection. I had to order a $20 Wi-Fi range extender and plug it into the wall adjacent to the generator to get a strong-enough signal to maintain connection. Even now the signal strength is only 52-56%. Just go ahead and spend the money on a check TP-Link range extender and set it up on a 2.4GHz band for your generator. IT will save you a lot of trouble.

General Guardian are designed and build with only two pole generators. That means the unit has to turn 3600 RPM all the time even on idle or almost idle. If the generator is 4 or 6 pole then instead of 3600 RPM it will turn 1800 or 1200 rpm. This means better reliability, longer life, lower noise and less fuel especially on idle. It is time Generac manufacturer to start making more efficient product. And not why with inverter generators. Guys, you are still in 20th century.

I just had the unit installed. The electrician was outstanding. Very professional, clean and answered all our questions. The entire install went without any issues. This past Saturday the unit performed its first automatic self running maint run. During the installers test we shut off all the power and everything worked as explained. I hope this works during an actual power out emergency....Thank you so far for everything and peace of mind.

We lose power a lot in our rural area that we reside. Kelly's Electrical Service, LLC is our local dealer in McBee S.C. and came quickly to install our Generac.
