After lots of discussion and review, we settled on the 14kW system as we were able to have virtually our entire house with the exception of one of the AC compressors, the basement and one bedroom covered. Not a bad deal for half the price of the larger system. Very happy with the product but the time from order to installation was 9 months (way too long) and now waiting for the WiFi element to be properly configured (another weeks wait).

The Generator Centre staff were very knowledgeable and professional. The installation was done efficiently. I cannot comment on the performance of the generator itself as it was installed on April 20th and the propane tanks have not been installed as of yet. We have not used the generator.

Just had the Generac model 7226, 18 kW home standby generator installed and am very pleased with it. The one small drawback is the Status LED indicator light is on the right side of the unit, away from my street view. The unit should be designed to move the Status LED indicator light to the left side of the unit if needed to view it from the street.

I purchased and had the Guardian 22KW installed on 041615. We rarely have power outages in our area but I had the Generac installed specifically for Hurricane season. Lo and behold, the day after my generator was installed our area experienced a tornado and power was out in our area for 9 1/2 hours. Three days later we had another bad storm and the area power was out for 6 hours once again. The Generac did just what it is supposed to do. Within seconds of the electricity being disrupted, the Generac kicked on and powered everything we would normally be using for the entire time. We never even would have known the electricity had gone out if we couldn't hear the generator running outside and the few seconds the house went dark before the generator sensed the problem and started automatically. Our generator runs on propane and after being on for close to ten hours, hardly even budged the propane gauge on our 500 gallon tank. It did not even register a gallon used to power the unit for that length of time. We are extremely pleased with our new Generac 22KW and would highly recommend it to friends or family. The professional installers were very efficient and thorough. They did a beautiful job and even completed the installation even though it was storming outside before they were finished. We have had the generator running for only eleven days and it has powered us for (16) very unexpected outage hours. Apparently we got it just in time.

Kevin from Larrison Electrical came out and went through what product would work best for our home.The unit was installed about a week earlier that expected,the install went without any problems,installers were experienced with there aspects of the job,cleaned up after the job was complete and went through how the unit worked and test run it. How do you spell peace of mind? How about G-e-n-e-r-a-c. We installed the 22kw model a couple months ago, and I rest easy, knowing my generator is standing by in the event of a power emergency. Each week the unit fires up for about five minutes in test mode, reminding me it's ready to go. We installed the generator as part of a swimming pool project, so the unit sits nicely among the rest of the pool equipment - compact and out of the way. I can't imagine owning a home without a backup generator, especially with our aging grid system and the looming threat of cyber attacks.

We live in a rural area and had a few multi-hour outages over the years, one that was rather inconvenient. Now we have peace of mind. I did the low-voltage wiring for load-shedding relays on the transfer switch and the installation instructions were great. An electrician and the gas company took care of the hookups. The dealer did the final startup and tests, all went smoothly. Generator is relatively quiet and handles everything we need! Just added a couple of battery backup UPSs for the computer and TV and all is protected and power outages are a thing of the past. Now the funny part of the story. The day the generator was delivered, I told the guy that we had pretty reliable power and rarely had outages, which I attributed to our neighborhood underground service. Just after he set the generator on the pad, the power went out, for 18 hours!! I could only look at the generator and think this won’t happen again...and I should have ordered it a week earlier. The underground service, though impervious to falling trees and car accidents, still can fail and took a lot longer to find and fix the issue.

My new 22KW generator with Automatic Transfer Switch was installed 11-2-2022. The generator is operational, though luckily has not been needed for service. It comes on every Wednesday and runs for about 5 minutes for testing. I get a not on my Mobile Link that it is operational. So far this is my only experience with the equipment. I must say that the generator is noisy when running, a little louder than the average size lawn mower. But I can live with the noise so my wife and I can have electricity. After bad freeze in Texas during winter of 2021, my wife insisted that we get a generator. After researching, I contacted a local generator installer in late July 2022 and was impressed by their professionalism, and they kept their promises for meeting dates and installation dates. They completed the total installation in 1 day with some ditch digging on the day before installation and cleanup the day after the installation was approved by the local inspectors. I liked the installers installation process, including installing the natural gas piping from my gas meter to the unit and electrical wiring from the unit into my attic and on to the electrical panel and setting the new pieces of equipment.

My husband and I have been pondering the idea of a standby generator for a while. It's a big investment and we take that seriously. After lots of talking and doing our homework, we finally decided to 'take the plunge'. Generac was highly rated so I called the company. They set us up with a local electrician/installer and from there the process was seamless. To be honest, we found out that these are very popular so it took a while from start to finish, but we were forewarned so all was well. About one month after installation we lost power and OMG what a comfort!! We had electricity!!! It worked as advertised and we couldn't be happier! Like I said, it's a big expense, but the peace of mind is well worth it.

I recently installed a 14kw Generac Guardian series generator for my back up needs so that its easier on my wife because im gone alot for work. It was a breeze to install and works automatically when power is interrupted on the first try! I definitely recommend this product to anyone!
