We have old LG's in a new situation. So we decided to try to stack them. With the help of a neighbor to lift the dryer, we successfully used the stack kit. This video was better than the written instructions that come with the brackets. https://youtu.be/tSsMxCfVO48 We've used the washer/dryer several times since stacking, and it seems very secure.
