I had never bought this brand of chicken before-and what a mistake that was! At first, I was a bit apprehensive because the price was higher than what I was used to paying; however, once I cooked it and my family took their first bite, I realized that we probably need to rethink our family budget and allow ourselves to splurge on better-quality food. The first thing that catches your eye is the chicken fillet itself: it had that perfect pink hue-no excess fat and no unnatural orange tint. As for the taste? It reminded me of those long-forgotten, old-fashioned farm-raised chickens.

I think the green on the packaging with the organic in green suits the product well. It gives an extra visual to attract the eye to "Vegetarian fed, free range, all natural" Although, I'm a little confused on vegetarian fed and free range. I'd expect free range to probably eat bugs and small rodents which contradicts the vegetarian part.

Actually extremely disappointed, the middle pack must've had a hole somewhere so when I opened it all the chicken stunk of rotten eggs,,,,so I'll be throwing the middle pack away; the outer two packs are still vacuum seeped so hopefully they aren't nasty too, but a bit disappointing for the cost of the product for one to be damaged and uneatble...

The chicken breast were huge considering they are organic and free range. The one positive was when they were cooked. There was very little liquid in the pan so that was a good indicator. It was not full of sodium solutions from the packaging company. Overall, the taste was good. I did have to trim a lot off of it because there was still fat in a lot of veins within it. I don't know if I would purchase the Sam's brand again, considering there are other national brands within the same price point that seemed to be smaller and require less trimming

Rotten. I bought three packs and all were so foul I had to throw them away. I tried calling Corp but they said they can’t help. Tried calling the Rock Hill store and they keep Hanging up before I can speak to anyone. Total joke and I’m out like $70. Do not buy.

Sam’s has always been my go to for chicken. The s is horrible chicken! They are slimy, and the texture is very weird. The taste was not good! I will never buy this product again. I do not want my chicken swimming in water! This was a bad move and this is a sub par product! Go back to the old supplier!

Horrible! I’m not sure why they changed the packaging but it leaks and it’s separated. It’s more work to store because you have to take it out of these bags and put it in ziplock bags. Bring back the original packaging. I don’t even buy anymore because it’s not worth it.

Horrible packaging and meat felt weird. I had no idea until I got home that the tape on the pachage ripped open the package and chicken juices all over my cooler and fridge. When I repackaged it in freezer bags, it felt very weird too. You might ask why I didn't return it, because its a 2 hour roundtrip. Who has 4 hours i. a day to do that. i will not be buying chicken at SAMS any longer unless they go back to the previous meat department packaging. I'm not even sure I should cook the meat or if it's safe.

Don’t buy. Ever since they changed the packaging once you open, it smells terribly rotten. This happened in South Carolina on vacation. We returned everything. We tried it again back home and had the same rotten smell. Happened with the wings and breast, both organic and non-organic. Will not buy chicken from Sam’s anymore

This is such an inconvenient pack of chicken. First, I’ve bought 4 total packs in the last month. I’ve returned two and now am about to return two more. I thought last time the smell that it had meant that it went bad or something. This time, I made sure to grab some that was still frozen and had SIX days before the expiration date and it still reeks of rotten eggs. Online will tell you that if the smell goes away after being aired out for 30 minutes that it’s fine, well it doesn’t go away!! I can’t imagine the taste! To top it off, this is supposed to be organic and the breasts are HUGE! There’s no way they are truly organic. They also add an absorbent pad to the bottom of each pack that is so saturated that it looks as if it was saturated before the chicken was added to add extra weight! WE NEED A BETTER OPTION!! Bring back the old chicken!!
