[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product has been just good. For the money we paid, it should be great! mattress does not breathe like we expected and the soft is not nearly as soft as in the store. Hopefully it will become that way after a break-in period.

It is very different than a regular mattress tho, so if that's what your used to it may take you a bit to get used to it. But no doubt you will love it too!

My opinion is that the Tempur-ProAdapt is a friend to my back. It took about a week to get used to a different style from my old spring mattress. Another two weeks to find the perfect angle with the Tempur adjustable base. After one month things are feeling like I've gained some youthfulness throughout my spine and neck.

At first the mattress wasn't as comfortable as I thought that it should be for the money paid, & I thought that I had made a big mistake! I've had my bed for about 2 months now & I don't know exactly when it happened but the mattress is perfect!! I have fibromyalgia & thought that I needed a softer mattress, but boy was I wrong. My mattress feels as if it had been made for my body, not too soft & not too hard. This has been the best investment I've made to date & I am 67 years old.

Relative to other beds and based on timeframe (6mths as of nov 2022) proadapt med hybrid is the best bed for pressure relief with support that i have found. I dont like the slow sink of the all memory foam bed and this hybrid counters that effect nicely. I am side sleeper predominantly, 235 lbs and need some give in the bed w/o sinking my hips (hammock effect) this bed has performed very well to date. I changed my mattress protector and sheets to bamboo which help diminish any hot spots that I was experiencing with cotton sheets and the tempur mattress. Although i didnt want to pay this much for a bed .... thus far it has been a great purchase well worth the money if i can get 10 years out of it.

I was struggling to find the best mattress since several years. I was looking for a firm mattress that will not give back or shoulder pain. It's just perfect. Have been using since 3 months and just love it. It's costly though. This one is not like the other brand mattresses which give feeling of "trampoline".

I decided on tempurpedic because I often get lower back pain. It is super comfortable now and I never wake up with any back pain again!

We love our new bed and only wish we'd replaced our old Tempurpedic mattress sooner. We waited too long (13 years) until we found ourselves waking up with aches and pains every morning. After the very first night on our new Pro-Adapt mattress, we awoke refreshed. There was no break-in period whatsoever (even with the "firm" we purchased), just an immediate good night's sleep followed by another and then another. We won't wait until our backs give out again before purchasing our next one. Tempurpedic is totally worth the money for us. (We even bought one for our three-year-old as his first "big boy bed.")

Our innerspring mattress was 10 years old and we had been waking up with aches, pains and not feeling rested. Mind you, we are in our early 30's. We tried out all the tempur-pedic pro adapt models in store and settled on the king size medium hybrid. The adjustment period was literally a matter of days for us. The medium hybrid provides the perfect amount of support without being too firm for us and I think the transition from innerspring to memory foam was really easy because it's a hybrid. We look forward to going to bed every night and wake up feeling refreshed with no aches and pains. It has really helped improve our alignment as well. Wish we would have bought this sooner. We also bought the ergo base and love spending time in bed reading in zero gravity. Can't recommend this mattress enough! Pricey but well worth it. We have had our mattress almost 4 months.
