Super easy to set up and started up immediately. Novices level reasonable as I did not expect it to be as quiet as an inverter generator. Love the large fuel tank and 14+ hour run time. Using this as a home back up generator for our lovely PG&E power safety shutoff days as our area is high fire risk. Only thing keep this from 5 stars is the generator had damage on the recoil where it looked like something hit it. I was able to pry out the bent cover that was hitting on the recoil to where the unit is usable. Westinghouse is working on an open case to send a new one. very happy with purchase and being able to plug this right into our power transfer meter. No more extension cords!

I purchased this generator for the cold winters in the Adirondacks. We have an ancient recoil start generator, however we were unable to start it. This is an electric start. We set it up, really simple! Gas, oil, opened the valve to the fuel, turned on the choke and pressed the button! It was just that simple. It started instantly. I am more than happy with this product.

This was purchased as a back up power source for our off grid home in Mexico.it not only looks great, its also èasy to start which is very important for my mom and I. We are both senior citizens so simple instructions are very important to us' both.it has plenty of power to run our entire household if necessary.

I did a lot of comparisons on various generators and found that this was a good combination of features and price. The electric start allows for easy starting. And the 5300W provides enough for the critical appliances during a power outage. The addition of a short adapter from the 30A TT30-R outlet to a 5-15R allows for using the full wattage capability of the generator on 'standard' 5-15P plugs.

After 2 hurricanes in less than a month, I felt I needed reliable backup power. This was a snap to setup. The pushbutton with remote is a great feature. Started first time and every time since. Great generator to keep the lights on and the refrigerator/freezers cold. I feel a lot better about facing future storms. Great job Westinghouse!

I purchased this generator to replace an old one that was only pull start. This generator is electric start, easy to move (even after 8 back surgeries), and comes with everything you need to set it up and use it. I have not had to use it yet, but I have high hopes that it will be a great buy.

This generator is heavy duty but small enough to use anywhere around the house. The built in wheels and folding handle makes it easy to move. Engine runs very smooth and is surprisingly quiet for the size. This medium size generator will run a 240v well pump, 120v freezer, refrigerator, and lighting. It's the perfect unit for backup electricity when the power goes out during winter storms!

I bought this generator a few weeks ago to provide power to our equipment shed. It provides power for the lights and power tools. The electric start feature is great. My previous generator was pull start only. That said, it also has a pull start for backup in case there are any issues with the starter or battery. The generator was easy to setup after getting it delivered. It is also easy to use. Power supply is steady and it has plenty of power for what I need.

Within a week I was having trouble getting it started, initially thought it was a carburetor issue but turned out to be a stuck intake valve. It was a long process but Westinghouse replaced the unit and refunded the shop diagnosis charge. I would buy the store warranty if I was going to do it again just because of the length of time it took to get the generator repaired. As performance goes, I use it to run a Lincoln 140 wire feed and it does that quite well.

I love this item because it's easy to operate for a 60+ female like me.
