Just received my generator. We just went through a flood in my area. We lost power for two days. Purchased for insurance that in any disaster I would have emergency electrical backup.

Was looking at the WGen 2500 but decided to go with the WGen 5300 since it was double the size and only a few more $. Worked straight out of the box. Quick delivery.

I recently purchased 5300DFcv after reading many reviews and also in the last month not having anything to provide power to my home for over 4 days due to weather issues. Again a great decision

At age 82 how am l expected to pull start this generator if the electric start won't work due to a low battery and the only way to charge the battery is by running the generator?

I bought this item because I was in need of another generator,because my other one needed to go,it was in great condition when i received it but i have yet to start it up,but when i do i know it will be fine

gen5300v arrived ahead of schedule. filled with oil and gas, started on second pull. starts on first pull since then. so far very satisfied.if we lose power we are ready. i hope

Purchased the WGen5300v gas generator and was very impressed with the overall quality of the unit. Will use this to supplement the output of my small inverter. Nice job Westinghouse.

worked straight out of the box, just assemble the wheel and feet, put in the oil (included) and gas (not included, obviously) and click it on! hurricane season here we come XD
