We just received our new WGen5300v. Everything seems to run well. I will know more when the power goes out for a day or more. We bought it for the price and the hours it says it will run ( 13.5) without having to refill every 3 hours like our old one. I gave 4 stars since we have not used it for a long period of time as of yet.

We just received our Westinghouse generator a few days ago. The set up was very quick and easy. All the necessary parts were included, down to the oil that it required. The generator was very easy to start. We are very happy with the electric start!! Can't wait for the next storm to lose power, so we can try it out. LOL

I did a lot of research, and pondered my choices for a long time before I pull the trigger on this generator. When comparing with several other generators this is the one that rose to the top for me. The price I paid for the wattage and other features, plus the reputation and reviews, were the deciding factors. Assembly went very smoothly and the generator started immediately when I hit the starter. I ran it for the one-hour break-in time, and it ran perfectly. Today I connected my air compressor to it through a 100' cord while it was running and then started the compressor. The generator barely noticed the compressor and powered it up with barely a hiccup. I think this generator will meet all my expectations and needs for back-up power. I'm looking forward to my first power outage. :)

Bought this due to severe weather and without power for days.I got this it was quickly delivered and easy to setup and run. It's a pull start which started easy on the 1st pull. It was packaged sturdy for shipping. Manuals and everything you needed was in the both. Oil, spark plug & propane connectors. I definitely recommend Westinghouse. I'm a fan of old school companies that have been in business forever. That's why I bought it. Along with the great price

Simple installation of feet and wheels. Arrived undamaged (GREAT) with everything needed to get started. With the weather changing so rapidly I needed a dependable generated to get through any emergencies. It started on first push of start in 15 degree temperature. Quiet compared to my old one. Has enough power for my house, which is a complete PLUS!! Really need to have the heat going with 3 kids in the house and keep their phones charged(HAPPY KIDS,HAPPY LIFE!!)

I just received this generator as a Christmas present to provide electricity during any local power outages. Assembly is minimal, quick and easy. Easy to get running - add oil/gas, turn fuel valve, choke and then pull and go. Easy to start and runs well. While it is heavy, it has wheels to allow it to be rolled around without having to lift the whole unit. Good buy given nice features, ease of use, and compact size.

I bought this generator to replace a 12 year old 3000 watt that is too small to start my well pump. I also opted for the electric start as I'm getting old. This generator has a solidly built frame and a nice one piece handle instead of two "stick" handles- easier to move. It was very easy to put together, probably not more then 20 minutes. Note that the battery comes disconnected with a simple plug that is tucked under the front panel. No need to monkey with the battery connections themselves. It starts immediately, is fairly quiet, and has several power plugs including the necessary 240volt that my house transfer switch utilizes so it was immediately plug and play. I researched several different brands and this fit the bill at the best price. Perfect.

No dislikes, Did not run correctly first time I started it. There was a spring on the carb governor that was not connected. I attached it and all is good. runs good and provides plenty of power where I need it. Nice generator at a nice price. Coupled with a transfer switch I can run all but the electric tankless water heater in my house.

I just recently bought this item due to threatening weather. But haven't used it yet. So far what I'm seeing is a really nice generator. It came with the wheels which is super helpful moving it. I love that it is portable and looks easy to set up. When I need to use it, I'll be sure and let you know how it is working. I did purchase this particular brand and model as it is affordable and it got high reviews.

Ordered my generator for an upcoming event where I will be needing power for my deep fryer. I have yet to try out the generator itself, but the set up was easy for the wheels (which means easy transport) and the user manual is extremely helpful and clear on instructions. The whole machine feels durable and strong.
