I did a lot of research and this meet my house generator needs especially for the price. Compact size, great instructions, and started on second pull. Noise level is average. There seems to be a common complaint of dented covers from shipping. Overall a very nice generator!

Just got it after a long wait. Simple instructions. putting it together, adding oil and fuel. It started on the first push of the electric start and runs great. It will be a comfort to have with us on our 27 foot fifth wheel, to run everything we will need.

Looking at this in person once it arrived, I could tell immediately that it was extremely well-made, sturdy and a serious piece of machinery. The operation is straight-forward, just a couple simple steps and you're powering several devices/appliances at once. Plus, the built-in handle and wheels make moving it around the property a breeze. Great product!

A perfect generator for our home use. Plenty of start-up options that enable us to use either a manual or electric start. The size(Watts) handles all of our needs to ensure we stay comfortable during any power outages. It is also mobile enough for me to use while working in and around our barn. I use a lot of power tools and am transforming part of our barn to accommodate my wood shop tools (lathe, table saws etc.) The generator allows me to power them up during this transition time.

Westinghouse WGen5300sc was shipped ready for action. Unpacking and Setup was just as the manual stated. Oil and all tools were supplied. After filling with fuel, and connecting the battery, I pressed the start button and the system hummed to a quick start. This generator is truly quieter than competitors' generators of same capacity. I am recommending it to all my friends. With more inclement weather and unpredictable power outages, my family is prepared to weather the storm with our Westinghouse WGen5300sc.

This generator came and the only thing I had to do was put on the wheel kit (very simple). Super easy to move around with the handle and wheels. Added oil (provided) and gas then connect the battery (simple quick connect). Then push the button and it started right up. I would definitely recommend this product.

I was preparing for winter storm problems and found this generator that had good ratings. The setup was so quick. The setup brochure was easy to follow and tools and oil were provided. Within minutes the feet were mounted, wheels installed, oil added using the spout provided. Then it was adding fuel and pulling the cord. Started on the first pull. Zero problems. Now it's ready and waiting for when storms knock out my power.

I just had this delivered yesterday and during the setup and preparation for use, I found it to be just as advertised. I hope I don't have to use it too soon and experience a power outage, but it and when it comes, I have no doubt whatsoever that it will provide everything I expect our of it. With the 5300 running watts, it will provide power to those items I wish to have power during a black out. I have found out during my 80 years of life that Westinghouse is a valid and dependable name. I have no hesitation in saying that this equipment will do the job.

This model has all the features I needed for backup power for my home and power for my RV trailer. Having just going through a hurricane, I wish I would have purchased a tri fuel generator utilizing natural gas for home power and gasoline for RV trailer.

We bought this to replace an old generator for the upcoming hurricane season and doing yard work far from the house with electric power tools. After the 1 hour unloaded break-in and then 30 minutes using light loads we went up on the roof with 2 large leaf blowers and it handled that easily. Tree pruning, Blowers, EChainsaw, no problem. Very tight power regulation and the unit is quiet enough once you go indoors you can't hear it running. Comes with tools and the oil fill funnel is a nice touch. Great unit.
