I recently purchased this following a several day power outage. It is exactly what I need before the next one happens. I have rated it as a 4 because it is too early to tell how well it will perform during an outage but if it starts up as it did on first try, I will be all set and would give it a 5..

Haven't had an opportunity or need to really use this yet but first impression is excellent. Well designed, has every type of outlet I can imagine ever needing anywhere, has 240 volt capability and L14 outlet for use with home transfer switch, and electric start..I Love the electric start.

Just bought it have not used it just did a test run and it worked well. It powered our leaf blower and a heater that we used to test. Easy to move around and has a great handle to use to move it. Not fond of the gas cap took a little to get it off but figured it out. The plastic thing they gave us to put the oil in didn't flex very well and was hard to put oil in without spilling it. All in all so far very happy with it.

Generator was delivered without any damage. Unboxing and set up took about thirty minutes. The electric start feature is the reason I purchased this unit and so far it has worked fine. Haven't had any issues while using the generator and it powers everything that I need it for without any problems.

I bought this to replace a generator that I have had for many years that finally stopped working. Since I could no longer get the parts to repair it I looked for another. I selected this one because of the reviews and the price. It was more compact, runs quieter, has more capacity and the output voltage was much more stable than the old one.

PROS: compact size, variety of electrical connections, selector for120/240 volt, has actual printed manual not something on the internet, fairly quiet, large fuel tank, easy electric start, easy wheel install CONS: wheels need to be wider so it can be movely easier on gravel/grass, adding oil to engine is combersome, oil funnel needs to be beefier especially the thread, electric start switch icons in manual do not match what is on the generator, fuel level guage does not work

This generator has everything you need to operate Items to your needs and to maintain the unit to keep it running for many years. I received the unit via UPS and after assembling the unit with a few items such as the wheel, mounting feet, oil and gas I connected the battery and the unit started right up and ran smoothly. I found the unit to run much quieter then I expected. Remember folks to run the unit for 1 hour with no load (nothing plugged into it) this is an important step in the break in of the generators gas motor. I'm very happy with my purchace.

The instructions for setup, staring and maintenance are very clear. The initial job of setting up and testing went smoothly It is powerful enough to run 2 refrigerators, 1 AC and multiple small appliances It is easy to maneuver for 70 year old man

We just bought this and haven't had chance to use it yet. My son assembled it easily enough. I found it to be just as advertised. I hope we don't have to use it too soon, but if we do have a power outage, I have no doubt that it will provide what we expect with the 5300 running watts. I stressed about power outages every time a bad storm was coming, but now will be at east knowing we have the Westinghouse Generator.

I bought this for my hunting lease. Last weekend the generator started quickly and worked well the entire weekend. It is perfect for my hunting camp and since it is portable, I can use it again at home in emergencies. I am very pleased with this model.
