I purchased my Westinghouse Wgen5300s generator in Oct 2020. I is everything I expected. I appreciate the wheels and handle included in the price. My wife can even roll this unit around. It started right up the first time and everytime there after. I can fully load the house on this unit. I have a well for water and during a long power outage no water. So this unit has everything I need during an emergency.

This model has all the features I needed for backup power for my home and power for my RV trailer. Having just going through a hurricane, I wish I would have purchased a tri fuel generator utilizing natural gas for home power and gasoline for RV trailer.

The generator fills my needs and operates very quietly. I am 77 years old and putting oil in it was a chore for me because of the location of the oil fill port. I had to get my son to put the oil in for me but from that point on things went smoothly. I recommend that a model for seniors be made available that is set in a taller frame to make it easier for us old folks that have trouble getting up and down to service it.

I bought this back in October when Southwest Virginia was hit with hurricane weather, but it took over two weeks to get it (thanks Fedex) so the power was back on and I didn't have a chance to use it. Finally had to use it in the middle of February due to winter storms. We hooked up the refrigerator and two heaters to it and it ran perfect. The build quality is great, though I did receive it beat up like it owed someone money (as always, thanks Fedex). Overall I'm impressed with it so far, and hopefully it will last many, many years.

I purchased after Hurricane Beryl to be prepared for next one. I like the features like electric start, CO monitor, easy to read fuel gauge and 11 hour run time. This will power my workshop including frig, freezer, small window unit and a light. I ordered the 9500W for my house to power essentals.

Set up and operation took just a few minutes and was easy. Once oiled and gassed, the generator started up on the first pull--impressive! I loaded the generator with about 3,000 watts of lighting and it didn't appear to be loaded at all. I'm very pleased and would recommend this generator to anyone needing power generation equipment for use on a farm or any type of emergency. Love it!

Bought this generator a few months back as part of an earthquake preparedness plan. It sat in the box until the recent polar plunge when I lost power for three days. I was able to unpack it and get it running in 20 minutes!! It worked like a champ and I was surprised with how little fuel it used. The electric start does not work but that could be because I need to charge the battery separately. (No instructions in the manual regarding that.) However, the manual start works perfectly. So no complaints.

I bought this generator about 3 weeks ago. It was easy to assemble. Everything that was needed came in the box. The directions didn't tell you how much oil to add, but I used the entire bottle that was included. I haven't actually run this generator during a power outage but I did run it for about 10 minutes to make sure that it would run. Everything seems great so I can't wait to use it!

Generator and parts arrived in excellent condition. Easy to assemble. Generator started easily. Needed to change plug from my services, very easily done. After reading directions (many times), Voltage Selector switch needed to be set on 240 volts to operate on my service, thinking it had only to be on 120 volts. Contacted my electrician and he verified setting was correct because he had installed same generator earlier.

Purchased this a couple of weeks ago. No power outage as yet so haven't had cause to use it., but if the explicit instructions are anything to go by, I am sure it will fulfill my needs. So nice to get a comprehensive instruction book with a product. These days firms skimp on that and direct you to the web.
